I am very happy with MP initial estimate and work. Sam was very accurate in assessing what type of system and capacity would make my 118 year home more comfortable in ever hotter summers and mild winters. He also offered great financing options, was upfront with details in terms of financing and pricing.
Very clean job inside out, only regret haven’t switched to a minisplit earlier.

Sam and MP saved the day once again--our furnace went out on a chilly Monday morning in March and it turned out we needed a new one. Sam worked his magic and we had a new one installed by Thursday of the same week (despite supply chain issues!) and I can't say enough nice things about Sam and the folks he has working with him. I am a customer for life!

MP saved the day and was great to work with. I called in the morning and they were out same day to fix my furnace. As it was a very cold January day, the same day service was greatly appreciated.

I cannot say enough good things about MP Heating & AC. I was referred to them by my realtor. I had just purchased a 1920’s craftsman in Portland. I wanted to replace an old oil heater (!) with a gas heater, and also wanted to get central air-conditioning. I got two bids for a new gas heater and AC unit.
The bid from MP was the lower bid, but I would have chosen MP regardless of cost. First, MP is a family-owned business, headed up by two brothers, Sam and Emil. Second, they were able to do the work the following week (the other bidder was scheduling two months out). Finally, Sam and Emil would be doing all of the work themselves, along with one employee, Vitaliy. This told me that they would take a personal interest and pride in their work. Plus, they provide a three-year guarantee of maintenance, and a seven-year guarantee for any labor costs of repairs!

As it turned out, they did a fantastic job. The installation went very smoothly. Sam, Emil, and Vitaliy worked long, hard hours. They finished in two days and did a wonderful job. Everything up and running on schedule with no obstacles and no surprises. In addition, completely apart from the work they were doing and in a different room, Emil noticed an uncapped gas pipeline that was not in use. This was potentially an extremely dangerous situation. Emil capped the pipeline - no extra charge – because that is the kind of guys they are.

Over and above all of that, they are the nicest and most personable people I have ever had work in my home. It was a genuine pleasure to have them do this work.

Best experience ever! If you want good and honest service MP heating and air conditioning is the way to go. Had some issues with the a/c in our home and were told by Roth that we needed a new system. Luckily I had previously seen MP do work at an old roommates house and gave them a call. What was supposedly going to be a $12,000 fix by Roth really only turned out to be $280 after Samuel from MP took a look and worked his magic. Samuel was very informative and genuinely cared about fixing the problem and not the upsell. Just wish I had gone with his company first. I won't make that mistake again.

The repair guy was very knowledgeable and also helped me understand what the issue was. He was able to trouble shoot the issue and find out where the short was, something the previous repair person could not figure out. Very professional, all my future ac work is going to them!!

Every time I work with MP I am so impressed. I previously managed a couple hundred rental properties and these guys were on top of the work at every turn, and were loved by tenants and owners alike-which made my job so much easier. These days I use MP personally for my own residence, and simply couldn't be happier. Sam is personable, knowledgeable, and always gives me the honesty information with an objective perspective. I'm as big of a fan after nine years as I was after the first job, I don't think you'll find a better company than MP Heating and Air Conditioning.

Sam of MP Heating and AC is truly top notch! From the time he introduced himself and walked me through every single step and what he was doing...I knew I he had gained a client for life! Personable, smart, dependable, hard-working and knowledgeable! He got my AC back up and running and went the extra mile with throwing in a few extras that will for sure make my appliances run better and last longer!
