There we were in the first cold snap of the year and our 47 year old heater was not cranking out any heat! I dashed for a quick internet search and saw Beaverton Heating and Cooling with the joyful tag line "RightNow." And they were correct, Glen answered the phone immediately and within hours was at our house on a Saturday. After careful examination (and amazement at the 47 year furnace) I decided to go for a replacement (parts hard to find on this baby.) Jack the electrician was contacted and 8:00 a.m. the next day (a Sunday) morning scheduled the new installment. Both Glen and Jack very personable, knowledgeable and not overbearing when I was making the decisions I wanted. Looking forward to hiring them for a few other projects.

We recently purchased a home; summer came and our A/C didn't work. The previous owners were great at keeping the service records from the heating and air provider. It seemed rational that we would reach out to the same provider and get our A/C repaired. We paid out of pocket several hundred dollars, taking three weeks to schedule them coming out etc., with no progress; coupled with leaving a complete mess in our attic. We decided to look around instead of setting up another appointment and giving away more money. We found Beaverton Heating and Cooling; we found several providers; what made them stand out was the hours they were open. If I have an issue and need something, I thought maybe this would be useful in the future. (In my experience, nothing seems to break between 8 and 4. it is always after five.) Anyway, I called based on this one difference.
The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was helpful, informative, and was willing to talk about my needs in a way I could understand (not using technical jargon.) The person took my information and said a technician would call and set up an appointment; within the hour I received a call from the technician, William. We scheduled an appointment to be serviced the next day! We didn't have to wait a week or two. William arrived ON TIME, was FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGABLE, and PROFESSIONAL. William assessed the situation; explained the technical stuff in a way that my wife and I could understand; allowing us to make an informed decision. Price and cost are two separate issues. The price came in our budget. The cost well, William got right to work fixing our A/C and didn’t stop until we were in business. He did a Stellar job including cleaning up after the previous service provider. Took away the stress and pressure of wondering. We have decided that moving forward; BEAVERTON HEATING AND COOLING will now be OUR service provider for all our heating and cooling needs. Highly recommended.

The Beaverton Heating and Cooling guys are absolutely awesome! They came out and fixed my AC on the 4th of July and were in and out in about 30 mins! They hooked my unit up to an electronic diagnostic machine, quickly identified the problem, and got it resolved. They also walked me through the entire process and explained everything they were looking at and why it could have stopped working. Coming out on a holiday, walking me through everything, and doing a fantastic overall job...Who could ask for more!!

When my middle-aged gas furnace decided to stop producing warm air in the middle of December I needed help fast. Beaverton Heating and Cooling was there first thing in the morning, diagnosed the problem and fixed it fast. Terrific service when I really needed it. We have used Beaverton Heating Cooling (Right Now Home Services) two times, just last month. Both were for emergency work. The first one was Mother's Day weekend. Jack was very prompt to call me back on a Saturday and arrange to come out on Monday and do a major outside electrical meter and post replacement. His team was prompt, knowledgeable and agreeable to a fair price. The repairs were completed promptly. We then left for vacation. We returned home on Memorial Day weekend to find our furnace and heatpump were not working correctly. I called Jack and he had his technician (Glen) give me a call. I made an emergency appointment with Glen for him to come out on Monday (Memorial Day). Glen discovered that the outside electrical issue had also destroyed our furnace and heatpump. I called Jack and a fair price was agreed-upon for a total replacement. We upgraded and purchased a Lennox XP25 heat-pump and modulating furnace. Within two days the old units were removed and the new fully operational. The Lennox XP25 is absolutely the quietest and efficient unit on the market today. Our prior unit was a Lennox and had been in place for about five years. It never did live up to the standard expected from a Lennox unit. By working with Glen we discovered, through his expertise that another company in Portland had installed too small of a unit for our home. Also there were many installation problems with the old unit. I can tell you that this was my first experience with Beaverton heating and cooling and I'm hooked. In my opinion they meet the true standards of excellent in class. Glen's knowledge-base was exceptional. I,m a retired Technical Maintenance Manager. I can state confidently from my years of experience that Beaverton Heating and Cooling Are the "Best in Class"

Jack did an awesome job getting a unit to us very quickly and at a reasonable rate. Our A/C unit unexpectedly died on us on a Friday afternoon on the hottest day in June. Jack was out the next day with a new unit that is much quieter than our previous one. Great service and highly recommend!

Do not call this company! Immoral and untrustworthy not to mention shotty work.
I called them early summer to install an Air conditioner unit cuz they were a tiny bit under price from everybody else and everybody seemed friendly. The installation went exactly as it was supposed to and everything is good. Fast forward two months into the end of summer and I have a gigantic leak in my basement under the furnace evaporation evacuation line meets up with the air conditioner. After having many waterproofing, foundation repair, and general contractors at my house it was discovered that the new lines that were built off of the furnace to accommodate my air conditioner were built improperly. Water was not traveling up the tube to exit my house. Instead it was staying pooled up into the pump. The pump fried, and water started leaking backwards through the system under my garage and into my basement. I call Beaverton HVAC back to fix the issue and discuss compensation for the repairs to my basement. After a week of delay (because every field technician and the company was on a hunting trip at the same time )they send the same person to fix the problem that initially created it. What was supposed to be a two hour job turned into a two day event. They will insist that you pay by check and will not let you use a credit card. If you’re really lucky somebody will ask you to pay them with a personal check written in the technicians name, rather than that of the company. Of course they were definitely not interested in helping me pay for the extra work that I needed to repair my basement because of their poor work. Nothing suspicious here, right?

Our furnace stopped working with freezing temperatures on the way. Glen Nelson came to our house within an hour and a half from my phone call. The problem turned out to be a small clog in the pressure switch. Glen checked all other potential problems, not wanting us to have to have him come back again. He was very knowledgeable (explained what he was doing and how things work) and polite. I would absolutely recommend Glen at Right Now Home Services (Beaverton Heating and Cooling) and will call him next time any of my HVAC components need fixing or servicing. Thank you Glen!
