Oregon Appliance Repair

Called Oregon Appliance Repair this past weekend to get my dishwasher repaired. The technician was fantastic, they came on time and did a quick job at an affordable rate!

This is the epitome of the worst customer service that I've ever experienced with an appliance service company or any company for that matter. My freezer repair process has been going on for over 7 weeks and still not completed. OAR service repairman has been to my residence 4 times. The first time the service tech 'supposedly' fix the issue and it still was not freezing. He came back and had to order more parts that should have been diagnosed in the first place. I've waited on parts and rescheduled appointments 3 times. I've had appointments rescheduled twice with one no show. These people do not communicate nor do they answer the phone directly or return calls to existing customers. In retrospect, I could have bought a new refrigerator and avoided this inconvenience and hassle and likely saved money as well. Ironically, I have a close friend that's having the same issues with this same company as I write this review. I highly recommend that if you need service on any appliance do not call these people. You'll be sorry!

4 weeks after telling me the repair would be completed, they couldn’t tell me when or even if it could be made. I request a refund, but thus far they have refused.
Some folks simply should not be in business. If you hire them, don’t expect them to ever return your call.

In the last nine months we have had three different companies out to fix a simple (but very dangerous) problem with our stove. The technician, Adrian, was professional and very competent. He diagnosed the problem, had the parts ordered and fixed the problem in approximately 2 weeks. We have not been able to use our stove or oven in months! Thank you Adrian and thank you Oregon Appliance Repair!

I’m so glad I checked the reviews! I just declined their offer to come assess for $150 upfront fee and after reading the reviews, I’m so glad I did. The owner’s responses to the negative reviews reflect an attitude of “the customer is always wrong”.

Prompt, courteous, professional and fixed our gas cooktop. Adrian, our repair person, was so careful in our kitchen. He was efficient, concise and tidy. Thank you.

We’ve called Oregon Appliance Repair several times and their technicians have always diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired the appliance. They are knowledgeable and professional.

Beware! This company is incompetent and unethical. They were called for 3 repairs for 3 different appliances. The appliances were from 3 different companies which is what they say they are trained for. After paying them $120 for a diagnosis of all 3, I consented to only one repair of a dryer. 1)The part ordered was apparently sent to another city. After waiting more than 3 weeks, I was then told the part was on it's way. 2) After multiple phone calls to ask about the delivery of the part, the technician arrived to repair the dryer and told me it was the wrong part! More weeks passed and my phone calls to the company went unanswered - (I only got their answering machine) 3) Finally with my frustration I called another company who came out and repaired it the same day. The original diagnosis from Oregon Appliance Repair was wrong. I lived almost 3 months without a dryer waiting for this company to repair it. Never ever would I call this company again.

They returned my call quickly when noone else did. Scheduling was easy and the technician Adrian showed up two days later to repair our whirlpool refrigerator/Freezer. Adrian was super nice, and professional. He located the problem quickly. Our Whirlpool runs great now. Thanks a ton! Highly recommend !

Horrible all the way around!!!! Do Not Use if you want your appliances repaired correctly.

This is not a fake review. Your technician used spray paint inside my brand new, KitchenAid oven therefore rendering it unusable. In addition, your company expected me to pay for this “repair”.

As you see, they claim this was”impossible”. Just read the YELP reviews and you will get a better sense of the truth - not only from me but many others as well.

This incident did not happen 2 weeks ago. This happened on 2/24/2020 and just 2 weeks ago Oregon Appliance Repair chose to dispute my review.
