Hi-Tech Plumbing & Leak Detect

The best summary is “Very Mixed Feelings”. It is first class service, and they do things that a lot, or maybe most plumbers don’t do. The downside is, they are Very Expensive. In fact, I can’t call it anything other than extreme. I’ve had them out probably four times over the years, always in unusual circumstances, where I believed for one reason or another (not taking the time to go into details) that it was worth the outrageous prices just to make sure the job got done and done right, and/or done quickly. Once again, I really can’t say enough about the quality of service. But cost - it’s often really crazy! In some cases 2 or 3 times what you would consider a premium pice for the service provided. For example: the last time I used them it took the plumber and his helper about 1 and a half hours to do the job and it cost me over $1,700. I did it because another plumber had told me the bathroom floor would have to be jackhammered up, which of course required an entire bathroom remodel. High tech restored the drain without all that damage. I thought “maybe it’s the cost of the equipment they used”? I looked, and the exact machine used could be purchased on Amazon for $1500. Not even close to justifying the price tag of $1700 for a 1.5 hour job. So once again “very mixed feelings”. I wish I could find a plumber that offered similar quality services for half what these charge - so still $850 for 1.5 hours work for a plumber and helper for this job; descaling about 15 feet of toilet drain line. Not a bad living huh! Unless, and until I do find that plumber I’ll probably continue to use these guys in select situations, and I’ll continue to feel great about the service, and ripped off about the cost🫤

You know that I was very complementary of the service you provide. But I just can’t understand how anyone can possibly justify over $1700 for less than a 1.5 hour job. It’s just too much, regardless of the quality.

Lindsey was very friendly and knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. She came in and went to work. The best part, she cleaned up before she left. Thankful for her service.

My highest recommendation. They were able to detect the leak underground and near the slab of my 40 year old home in less than 20 minutes and within a few inches. The team returned the next day and performed repair on the outside of the house and requested repairs inside the house. A spectacular effort.

Josh did a great job in diagnosing the slab leak and presenting options. He was prompt, professional and courteous, had answers to all my questions.
Kael and Lindsey arrived the next day on time and got to work. They were very professional and industrious, finishing a pretty big job in a day.
All did a good job of informing about the work and expectations. I'm very satisfied with the work and the experience.

Had an issue with my tankless hot water heater. Hi-Tech Plumbing & Leak Detection came out the same day before the 4th of July weekend and fixed it. They sent out Gavin and he was very professional and even showed me how he did so I could fix it next time on my own.

Kael and Brian were amazing! They showed up with a great attitude and got to work and completed the job the same day. They were friendly and answered all my questions and seemed genuine. I would recommend them to everyone that needs plumbing work done at their home.

I myself moved to Edmond about 1.5 years ago, my grandfather ran a sewer business, my father did, and I did myself before my move from Louisiana to here, so I know a good company and workmanship when I see it and I am highly impressed doesn’t quite do it, clean service vehicles and quality equipment, good prices and most of all the tech Chase knew exactly what he was doing, very knowledgeable and professional. We need more companies like this.

Everyone we have dealt with at High Tech Plumbing has been great, but Josh especially goes above and beyond! We have now used this company for two leaks we had in different lines and they dealt with it quickly, with great customer service, and great results. I strongly recommend.

Joshua did great in trying to help me. Dispatch should have weeded out in letting me know they won’t be able to help me locate a leak in a sprinkler main water supply line in the ground. He did the best he could. Charged $99 and left without being able to find it. He did try though. I ended up locating the leak in three of my frostless hydrants connected to the same water line. I called and Joshua said he would work up a quote and haven’t heard from him since.

I am not one to blindly use businesses, especially for something that could turn out catastrophic if not done correctly. I had two friends suggest them! I would highly recommend Hi-Tech Plumbing and Leak Detect. Michael and Ryan came out and went step-by-step through process of elimination to figure out where the water was coming from and thankfully it was just something that I needed to seal myself in my shower/tub. They were very thorough, professional, and friendly. They will definitely be my go to for any plumbing or leaking issues. Even the girls that answer the phone and book appointments were super friendly and responsive and got them to my house the next day (Friday) when they were originally supposed to come the following Monday!
