P.K. Wadsworth Heating & Cooling

I have been using pk Wadsworth for over 25 years. Today we were supposed to have air-conditioning serviced.
Received email saying technician , Rusty was on his way. Neither Rusty or anyone else showed up. My husband called and was given a flimsy excuse that they don't know what happened. Is this a way to treat loyal customers or any customer?

Bradley and Alex did a great job. Quick and efficient and reviewed what is recommended to be done next year. Bradley has done service for me in the past and is always incredibly polite, efficient and helpful.

Tom is a great tech., who made recommendations but wasn’t pushing a total replacement. I appreciated the care he showed and understanding of allowing us to put our pets away who aren’t used to pets.

PK was very efficient and communicative- knew where they were every step of the project - service persons were friendly and helpful- great job well done!

Same day appointment when the furnace stopped working. The service tech James R found the problem quickly, had the part in his work vehicle, installed it and out the door in under an hour. James R was friendly, wore shoe covers, and explained everything clearly. Highly recommend!

My ac unit stopped working so I called PK Wadsworth 🙃. A few days later a technician arrives first he says it's the thermostat, next it was the condensation pump. Long story short he advised me to replace the condensation pump unit so I agreed to that yet the air conditioning system still wasn't working . Next he quoted me for an electrical outlet repair. Per the tech work summary both my initial condensation pump and electrical outlet was functional upon his arrival. I reached out to Mike ( customer service manager) whom is very unprofessional and unresponsive over five voice-mails later he advised me that a technician would be out to repair the electrical outlet and he would credit the repair because my condensation pump shouldn't have been replaced as it was a electrical outlet issue from the beginning. The same technician whom lied and overcharged me initially replaced the electrical outlet without incident but my card was charged for a repair that (customer service manager Mike) stated will be handled by the company. After another round of games( mike is in meetings, mike boss is in meetings, next mike is a lunch etc) for multiple weeks and ignored voice-mails to Mike he finally reached out saying a refund will be issued .Sadly only a partial refund was received and now no answers from Mike. The finance department stated its an Mike issue. Welp unfortunately my air conditioning unit stopped working and the condensation pump unit failed now my home has water damage. This experience hasn't been pleasant at all and I am out of hundreds of dollars yet no ac. 🥵🥵 I will try to find the energy to play games with this company.

Update July 25 2022:

AC unit appears to be properly operating. The condensation pump unit was replaced again. PK Wadsworth tech Rusty wasn't sure why the new condensation pump failed but he replaced it without incident. Please note Rusty was honest , professional and thorough; he definitely understands customer service and knows his stuff.

It's simple I expected a honest diagnostic and recommendation. I didn't expect the unethical behavior and silly games from multiple people at this company. I wouldn't recommend this company it's been very difficult doing business with them. I honestly question if I ever needed a condensation pump from the beginning.

I will update this post again once I discuss the water damage concerns with the owner.

Ryan did an excellent job. He was extremely professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He also offered tips and additional services that would help maintain my HVAC system and keep it functioning at an optimal level. His services are greatly appreciated.

I've had PK Wadsworth out twice now this year. Both times they were fantastic, professional, and exceeded my expectations in their thorough way of handling things. Both times they outdid themselves on price too!

In June we had a new AC unit put in with a heat pump, UV and wireless thermostat. Now in December we have to replace the furnace too. Service fee is less than most, repairs and installs have been scheduled and done quickly.

All in all, truly a 5* company. Extra shout-out to Nathan J, the coolest technician I've ever dealt with.
