I recently had a Mitsubishi Ductless Mini-Split HVAC system installed in my workshop. Everyone involved in the process - from the salesman Chris, through Corey and Bobby who did the installation work, and the folks that did the scheduling-were all extremely easy to work with. The whole team was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Corey and Bobby took the time to explain the system operation to me, and then again to my wife. I am very pleased with the efficiency of the entire process and pleased with the equipment they installed. I'm looking forward to many years of good service from the unit. I would work with Custom Air again if the occasion arose, and feel very good about recommending them.

After getting a few quotes I chose Custom Air and I’m glad I did. The process was very straight forward and well organized. The HVAC install could not have gone smoother. Ryan and Justin explained what they were doing and double checked with me to make sure I understood the process. They verified what Steve in sales told me; “this is where the exhaust vent will go, is this where you want the A/C condenser?” They also made sure we understood how to use the system and put it in terms we could understand. They obviously love their jobs and were a pleasure to work with.

We could not be more pleased with the service we received from Custom Air Conditioning and Heating. We had a heater that looked as if it had been installed 50 years ago or more. It had no fan to circulate the air, and we depended on window air conditioners during the summer months. All that changed with a call to Custom Air. Scott was great to work with in helping us decide on what we needed, and what unit would work best for our needs. The installers were experienced, and were also a pleasure to work with.

We now have a modern heating/AC system, and it works beautifully. We will remember their excellent service for many years to come. Both my wife and I highly recommend Custom Air Conditioning and Heating Co.

Great experience with Custom Air. I worked with Chris on a quote to replace my 27 year old AC and furnace. Was offered many options and received the guidance I need from Chris. Very knowledgeable.

The installers arrived right on time and walked me thru the process. I could tell right away Ryan and Justin were experienced and took pride in their work. Very personable as well.

They ended up moving the location of the air conditioner to the side of the house at no extra charge which made me really happy because it was an eye sore before in my patio.

Once the finished they went over all the things they installed and took their time with all my questions. They are a great team. Couldn’t be happier.

First of all, I am VERY surprised that Custom Air got this high of a review with all of these people. I am very unhappy with these people. I was tricked and they played me for fool only because they knew I had the money to pay for their services. In addition to that, my AC went down for the 2nd time in its 3 year full operational use. They installed LEMON of a Trane unit and Custom Air benefited highly from their ungodly labor rates.

My most recent repair happened about 3 weeks ago while I was in the process of moving out of my property. There was a water leak out of the ac unit in the basement and of course I had to get CA to come in so I could close on the house. Diagnosis was a frozen evaporator on a 3 year old unit! The tech that did the Diagnosis, Josh, told me fairly nicely that it would cost $410 to replace the evaporator. I was very pissed knowing that about 13 months prior to this issue, I had another part fail that caused freon to leak as well. Josh showed me his paperwork and told me $410 was the for sure cost to do the repair in and out since the part was still under warranty. The next day, Randy from the quotes office calls me and informs me that the part is available and that it would cost $655. I was livid at this point. The tech told me to my face $410. And since I was in the middle of moving, I forgot to ask Josh to write down his quote of $410. Randy was going to check with Josh and called me back; between the two of them, they teamed up on me and basically
LIED to me over the phone. This very same day, I mentioned this issue to one of the guys helping me move and he heard for sure that the quote Josh gave me was $410. Mover guy is my witness. I could sue Custom Air for all I know. But I had to move on and do the goodwill with the new owners and get the system repaired.

And of course, once the part was replaced, I wanted to see true evidence of the leak. After asking the guy that replaced the part, all I could do was assume and trust their judgment that that was truly the issue. HOW CAN I BE FOR SURE THAT WAS THE ISSUE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM IF YOU COULDNT SHOW ME EVIDENCE?!

With all that said, I loved that house I lived in but I HATED that Trane system and it was VERY UNFORTUNATE that the people installed it were from this corrupt company called Custom Air Heating and Cooling!

We have used Custom Air for over 25 years. We attribute annual routine maintenance through CA with the unusually long life span of our A/C system (35 years old). When the system was no longer cooling, we called CA and our favorite service tech (Tim R) was dispatched within a few hours. After diagnosing the problem, he advised to have a new system, given the age and the cost of the repair. A salesperson arrived promptly the next morning (Scott G), and provided information on a new system that would meet our cooling needs and budget. Much to our surprise, Scott called later that afternoon to let us know the system we selected was in stock AND an installer available for the following morning! The installer (Ryan B) arrived at 8:30am and we were signing the charge slip at 1:30pm. In essence, we had a system failure and a new system installed all within 48 hours. The true test of a stellar company is how they react when things go wrong. Having no working A/C when temps are in the 80's is no fun. The inter-departmental communication between service, sales and installation were excellent, resulting in a very satisfied customer.
