I called CJS Heating & Air for seasonal maintenance on my furnace and air conditioner. I just bought this condo 7 months ago and I knew there were some issues, but I was hopeful that some tune ups and minor repairs would solve the problems. The tech that came out was very friendly and helpful, and he walked me through all of his concerns and showed me the problem areas so I could see for myself. The repairs I needed cost more money than I was willing to put into and old heating and cooling system, so he called one of the project managers (Joe) and told him I was interested in purchasing a new system vs fixing the old one. Joe came out the same day and walked me through all of my options. 4 days later I have a new furnace, air conditioner and hot water tank, too. It is so nice to have a comfortable home again!! There was one tiny spot on my carpet that got damaged, about the size of a quarter (and to be honest with the amount of pieces and parts and heavy equipment coming in and out of here I am surprised there was not a lot more damage) but the install techs and Joe offered to "make it right" for me no less than 4 times. I declined the offer to repair the carpet because it's on my list of things to upgrade anyway, but I REALLY APPRECIATE that they were forthcoming with me about the damage and sincerely wanted to make things right. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the market for a new HVAC system or repair. Very happy with my experience!

Their commercials caught my attention, their service will bring me back. Call center was polite, knowledgeable and professional. Same for the tech who showed up when we had scheduled the appointment (fancy that). Will definitely use and recommend CJS in the future!

I had a problem with my heat pump. Brooke and Jamison did a fantastic job finally fixing it, but the other technicians definitely struggled a bit. All in all I’m satisfied with the work that was done (broken contactor switch and capacitors replaced) and I felt good about Brooke and Jamison’s knowledge and trusted that it is now properly fixed. However, I was disappointed with the original techs that were sent out who had accidentally knocked loose a wire and then spent hours unsuccessfully trying to figure out what was wrong.

Throughout the repair (a total of 3 visits across 6 days) the communication was excellent, the technicians called 20-30 minutes before arrival and arrived in the window they were scheduled. I felt like the prices (for service at least) were comparable to other providers. So in general, I would say this a good company, but if the technician that comes to you is saying something questionable, you may want to ask them send one of their more experienced people.

Update [new service story]: Charles came today to do the annual inspection of my furnace, which was installed by CJS several years ago. He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient ~ couldn't ask for more!

Update [new service story]: CJS sent Jamison when my water heater (which had been installed by a different plumber less than 5 yrs ago) stopped working, and Jamison was a total angel! He tried his best to adjust and clean parts so that it would at least work until a more permanent repair could be made with replacement parts, but still the flame wouldn't stay lit. He went out of his way to track down the needed parts, and returned the next morning ~ on his day off! In no time he'd installed the parts and once again I have hot running water! Many thanks to this friendly, caring and capable man for making this extra effort. And by the way, the CJS charge was way less than the estimate for the same work from Eco Plumbers, who'd come to evaluate the problem several days earlier (I didn't realize that CJS does that kind of work or I would have called them first). It was worth waiting until CJS could send someone. ALL of my experiences with CJS have been very positive.

[original service story] Andrew came within an hour of my call to ask for help. He seemed very knowledgeable and explained the several problems with my furnace in terms I could understand. Without any pressure, he described my options. I will continue to do business with this company.

Judson & trainee Griffin did a great job. On time, polite, professional. They did a thorough job checking out the HVAC, both the furnace and the AC. They made sure that our 25 year old furnace was performing to spec. They cleaned filters, replaced humidifier water panel, and cleaned the outside AC condenser while checking all voltages and pressures.
