    I purchased a new construction home in 2021, the company did the HVAC install. In December of 2022 I had issues with my home not getting warm, I gave them a call over the holiday and a tech talked me through what to check and advised to turn on auxiliary heat if all else failed. Fast forward a few days later and the issue just got worse, they sent a tech out to investigate and he resolved the issue fairly quickly.

    Here is why the company earned a 1 star review: (remember they installed the system originally and it is 1yr and a few days old at this point)

    According to THEIR own tech the system was not programmed correctly, as well as a couple of other things that were pointed out that all had to do with the original install. I was only 5 days outside of my warranty and they still charged me, even though it was their shoddy work that caused the issue.

    Conclusion: Carolina Air is not to be trusted! What kind of reputable business blames home owners for what they did wrong? The system they installed, is barely over a year old! I didn't find out until a month after closing that they didn't even install air filters in the home!

    Do not trust this company!

    P.S. I just discovered a 12x12x1 air filter in my home that I didn't even know existed!....guess they forgot they installed that too! By how filthy it is it looks like that's the only filter they even installed *I specifically asked about which filters I should use etc. back in 2021*

    Trust is earned and Carolina Air doesn't have a leg to stand on.
