The service was smooth, on time, and professional. It was a routine pre-season cleaning and they were contacted by my home warranty company so the fee was a standard flat fee. I think he might have done a little extra and did not try to up-charge me. He was friendly and quick. We will schedule with them again in the Spring if they are available. We have a very old system and appreciate being taking the time to keep it running well. Update…scheduled again this spring. There was some miscommunication between the office and the tech so he came unprepared and we had to reschedule. Had to reschedule again because he had car trouble, but when he came on the third try Marcus had his helper and was his usual friendly and efficient self. I like these guys and that they are a small operation. It is not easy being a small business. I hope they get the kinks worked out.
We are thrilled with Marcus from Bee & Bee Heating. He saved us by coming out today - Christmas morning - to diagnose and repair our attic furnace that stopped working yesterday. He was friendly, knowledgeable and got the job done. Turned out our furnace drain line was frozen. He traced the drain to where it exited our home and sure enough it was filled with ice as the drain pipe itself was too close to the ground making it susceptible to freezing. After cutting off about a 5” section of the drain pipe (which was filled with ice) our furnace started working again and cranking the heat! Thank you Marcus!
I had a great experience with Bee & Bee. I think a lot of the bad reviews are coming from the responsiveness from the home warranty companies that Bee & Bee don't have control over. My heating system was not working and I called my home warranty who is very slow to send people out. Another company was supposed to come out 2 days after my service request and I was able to get my warranty company to get someone else and Bee & Bee offered to come the same day thankfully. They were prompt and came within 15-20 mins of my call. Justin quickly diagnosed the problem and Marcus ordered the part and installed it 2 days later, but that was as soon as the part came in. They quickly fixed my inducer motor and heat was working again. I would give this company a chance and not read all the bad reviews, because I think the negativity is coming from people's experience from their home warranty companies.
Avoid this business like the plague. Similar to other reviews, they were assigned to a service call by our home warranty. We paid the $100 after the initial visit, which they were actually timely on making. They ordered a part through the warranty company, which took extra time since the unit is no longer manufactured. After a long wait, they finally installed the part that was received. This did NOT resolve the issue and a new part was needed. Marcus informed me that the part was ordered and each time I reached out for an update, he would state that he was still waiting on the warranty company. When I finally called the warranty company for an update, they informed me that the ticket was closed and no part had been ordered. A new part order was placed and a new ticket was opened. Once he told me that the part had arrived, he stated he would be here the following day for installation. After multiple texts that went unanswered, the warranty company called to follow-up and he promptly hung up on her once he was informed of where they were calling from. He completely ghosted all other phone calls from the company from that point forward. Our A/C fan unit has been inoperable for over 4 MONTHS through all of this.
Tech showed up on time as agreed, and was able to diagnose and fix the issue in less than 30 minutes. He was courteous, respectful of our home and pleasant to deal with. I’ll use them again in the future.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. This company was scheduled by my warranty company when my a/c stopped blowing cold air. After canceling, and then showing up late the next day, I was told my a/c had a leak and the coil needed to be replaced, he even showed me a picture on his phone of "my unit". He also told me the unit was installed 1 year ago and the part would still be under warranty with the manufacturer so warranty company would not cover it and I would have to pay them out of pocket. I just moved into this house a few months ago and knew the a/c was more than 1 yr old. I was able to get in touch with the company that installed the unit and they verified this information, they installed it 5 years ago and the coil is no longer under warranty. Meanwhile, the incorrect information gets sent to the warranty company and they tell me they won't cover it. I told them the information they were given was incorrect but they say they have to go off what the tech says and close my claim. I decided to have the company who installed the unit come out for a second opinion and they defrosted my unit (Bee and Bee didn't do this) and did a complete diagnosis where they find NO LEAKS and everything is working fine. Turns out the unit just froze up and needed to defrost and be cleaned. As a young woman, I feel like Bee and Bee was trying to take advantage of me to do the easy thing and pay them out of pocket for their own financial gain...or they are just extremely incompetent. Either way, STAY AWAY.
Marcus was wonderful. He was professional, addressed our concerns, and great about explaining things to us so we have a better understanding. The company was also excellent about communicating before and after their visits.
STAY AWAY. Over a month with no a/c. My home warranty picked these clowns. The clowns came to evaluate and determined my unit needed parts. They were supposed to process the request through the home warranty company. Every time my spouse called to follow up on the status, the clown would spew another excuse. If you are looking for a Shuck and Jive company, please contact them. If you need your a/c repaired, stay away form these clowns. The pics speak a lot about this company. Fraud. Working through American Home Shield, they identified an AC part needed. It took some time to order, and the contractor picked it up. Then the contractor ghosted me and AHS. Didn't respond to calls or emails. AHS eventually assigned a new contractor. It took several more weeks to order a new replacement part.
Maybe they do okay work for others, but they caused a significant delay in getting AC fixed (over July and August). I would never trust them.
