Since moving into our house less than a year ago, we unfortunately have had several issues with our HVAC. The first time we called Woody it was the middle of winter and our heat had gone out (on a Saturday of course). Not only was he willing to come out on a Saturday but he arrived about an hour after we contacted him. He was upfront about the situation and the cost and we were satisfied with his service.

Now I'll spare you the details of every single thing that has broken on our POS system, but what I will tell you is that every time we have called Woody he has been out either that same day or occasionally next business day. He is absolutely knowledgable and multiple times has known what the problem is just from us describing the situation on the phone. His pricing is fair and the one time his repair didn't successfully fix the issue he didn't charge us.

After multiple unsavory experiences previously with local competitors, it's such peace of mind knowing we have Woody to call when we have an issue. We cannot recommend him enough.

South Wake HVAC did an amazing job installing an additional system for our attic renovation. Woody was professional, up-front, and genuine from start to finish. Since I did some of the renovation myself, he was flexible with my DIY timeline but was always there when I needed it. Woody and his son are awesome. They recently replaced my heat pump system. They have great prices and excellent service. Woody was very responsive every time I reached out with questions. They did great work and will definitely be my go to HVAC company going forward. Can’t recommend them enough!

I have been using this company for years. Woody has always been extremely responsive. He has done everything for us from AC repair, AC replacement, AC preventive/routine care, and extending our gas line into our kitchen for our new gas stove. I cannot say enough positive things about this company. We love our new AC unit- it is more efficient and we have seen a decrease in our electric bill while staying cooler! Woody is awesome. My blower fan bit the dust, but I'm on the tail end of having COVID, so I couldn't leave my house. Shipping one would take almost a week and that wasn't an option in the cold weather. I tried three different reputable places and South Wake HVAC was the only one willing to work with me (due to COVID). Thankfully the HVAC is in a mudroom with an exterior door and interior one, so I opened the outer door to air out the space and closed and sealed the inner door to keep exposure to an absolute minimum. Woody came out, confirmed it was the motor, found one in stock and gave me a price for everything. I agreed, he came back out, installed it and e-mailed me a link to pay online. Start to finish, from initial phone call to completing the job was under six hours. I couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you Woody and South Wake HVAC!

Our AC went out in the middle of July, I called South Wake HVAC and talked with Woody. He was able to come out same day to diagnose our problem. Our unit was a much older unit. We were given a repair estimate with options and were never pushed to just buy a whole new system. Communication on the status of parts and when our HVAC will be replaced was on point.

I will be recommending South Wake HVAC to anyone who needs any sort of HVAC work.

South Wake HVAC with Woody Stokes was absolutely fantastic! Woody came out immediately after our heater went out and was working on it the next day. He was very thorough and honest and presented us with an affordable estimate. I would definitely recommend him if you have a heating/air conditioning unit that needs repair. South Wake HVAC is the only company I will trust with our HVAC. Woody took care of our original 16 year old heat pump system anytime we had a problem, which there were many. He is always responsive, thorough, and realistic. Just recently our units finally gave in and we had South Wake HVAC replace both of our heat pump systems with top of the line Trane units. I could not be happier with Woody and South Wake HVAC. I recommend them for all your HVAC needs!
