Very happy with the whole experience. I was contacted quickly for the home audit by Pam and was contacted 1 week after submitting the paperwork to set up a date for the audit. About another week later they contacted me to let me know the results and set up dates for the crew to start doing the work. I was approved for a good amount of stuff, over 6k in work. They divided the work in 4 parts. By the second appt., Ken came and checked out my furnace, he said it needed to be replaced. I couldn't afford one and he advised me of a program that could help. Turns out I ended up getting it replaced for free also. All the guys that came were friendly and gave me information on what they were doing. I had a small issue because they came to insulate my attic and it was not explained to me how they would do it before hand to see if I agreed. Comes out being they were gonna do a full blow, which meant I would not be able to use my attic for anything because it would all have about a foot of cellulose on the ground. I was a little upset at that, because I use my attic for storage. The worker offered to leave a 10x12 area without so I could use as storage and my husband agreed. It took me a while to get over that. Bit I'm already happy with it, my house feels warmer already. My furnace has been installed, the crew was very knowledgeable and explained everything in regards to the new parts and what they did. So I do give them a 5star rating because they are proffesional, friendly, helpful and get to everything quick. Thanks to Pam and Ken, I had an awesome experience.

During the hottest week of 90 degree+ weather in Rochester, NY our air conditioning unit decided to stop working. The team at Total Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning solved the issue the same day - from the customer service coordinator to the technician the experience was professional, courteous and they solved the issue in one visit. Other local providers were not available until this weekend or next week, so happy we are living and sleeping in cool and comfortable home again. So here I am 3 years after having this "good" service and now I've spent about 3 months in total trying to reach Ken in order to service the new unit they installed. On occasion I'll get a random text saying he will call after dealing with a job and never hear anything. I call a few days or even week later to give time and still nothing. Sooo, in the grand scheme of things I would say the initial meet and greet and getting things going may be good but don't bother calling that number that's left near your system for any routine check or follow up. Because so far that won't happen....
But after a year or so he had no problem calling up and confirming information for money to go towards some warranty of sort, 🤔!!

I contacted this HVAC company after a terrible experience with another local company. Total Comfort repaired my central AC quickly and professionally, and immediately agreed to use my warranty (which was ready to expire in a few days). I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I first learned about Total Comfort a year ago when my old furnace wouldn't turn on one morning during the winter. I'm what you call a do it yourself person, so I researched the problem & decided it could be the igniter needed to be clean. Once I took off the door of my furnace, I decided it was way to much work to reach the igniter, decided to call in the professionals. I read many Heating & Cooling reviews & decided to give Total Comfort a try. I called & they placed my on the schedule immediately, the sent a young man name Chris to my home, he analyzed the problem & it was the igniter need to be clean. He cleaned it & it started up immediately, he went back downstairs to but the furnace back together & something went wrong & the furnace stopped. This is when honesty & integrity comes into place, Chris said he must have done something wrong & he called is boss Ken, Ken was out of town with his family, but he stayed on the phone trying to assist Chris for hours. Unfortunately, Chris was unable to fix it with Ken's assistance via phone.
Once Ken returned to Rochester, he was at my home within one hour from getting off the plane & fixed my furnace, he replaced what ever need to be replaced with no charge to me.
I was so impressed with the honesty & integrity of Total Comfort. that I have went on to have them insulate my home in 2019. Perform energy testing for free.
As of 2020, Total Comfort installed a New Energy Efficient Amana Furnace in my home & a Energy Efficient Hot Water Tank. They did a wonderful job, cleaned up & took the time to explain the new furnace & hot water tank. I'm very detail oriented about thing & they took the time to make sure I was happy with the install. They processed the warranties needed for the furnace. The Total Comfort group- Ken, Rogene, Adam & Brian did a wonderful job & I would recommend Total Comfort to anyone whose looking for a good honest company with integrity.

Our furnace stopped working and Total Comfort was able to get it back up and running! It was a quick fix and the service tech, Dave, was super helpful.

Purchased Amana high efficiency furnace from Total Comfort in Feb. Installation was a breeze, and our house quickly warmed up. We noticed this fall that the house seemed to stop heating up. Ken dispatched and quickly surmised that a spider had taken up residence in our unit's drain pipe. In about one hour, our house was warm again. We definitely appreciate Total Comfort's support of their product!
