Holbrook Heating & Air Conditioning HQ

I had a new hot water tank with power vent installed yesterday. It was originally schedule for next week but they called two days ago to tell me they had finished up a job early and were able to come yesterday. Josh and Alex arrived at the scheduled time and spent about 4 hours here. They were very pleasant and knowledgeable and answered my questions thoroughly. They removed my old tank and cleaned up all debris and were very careful to avoid any damage to my floors and moldings during the process of accessing my basement. I had Holbrook install a new furnace and A/C last year and was pleased with that job also.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever paid for. Lines ended up not routed where we requested, the connection to the house was a hole caked with plumbers putty and after the installation we were told both our control board and the transformer needed to be replaced and that we were liable for the repairs even though the system worked fine before the installation. They ended up cobbing the board off a switch instead of making sure it was all working. After getting attitude from just about every customer service agent over the phone we finally narrowed it down to a $1000 parts bill before labor to get it working again. I chose to go with another company closer to home since I'd be footing the bill for their damages anyway, who has since informed me that the transformer and control board were fine and that everything was wired incorrectly.. 6 months after the installation that we waited 4 months to have done and we still don't have a working AC that we paid for or the heat that we started with. could not possibly recommend this company to anyone.

Had furnace and ac installed they explained everything and were very friendly Whitney in the office to never felt like I was bothering them only took about 10 days from order to finish install

They showed up on time as promised.
The tech knew his stuff and explained the issue I was having in layman's terms.
Repairs were performed efficiently.
I do question the cost of the service fee. Disregarding the labor rate, $185 to drive crosstown seems excessive.

Boy were we worried when we woke up with no heat and scrambled to find someone to come and fix it on the same day. After calling around we finally came across Holbrook. We couldn't be happier with the service!! From the first phone call, we could tell the customer service was superior!! Then we met Barney, our savior! He was not only fastidious ( considering he was working by the hour-Important) He was friendly and very knowledgeable about our oil heating system. He even educated me on trouble shooting issues myself which I really appreciated! We truly hope we don't have any issues in the future...but if we do, we will call Holbrook and hopefully get Barney to help!!

Kyle was very professional. We just bought this house and I don’t believe there had ever been serious maintenance done on the oil fired furnace. Kyle worked hard to clean it, showed me the parts that needed replacing, they were in bad shape. He had the replacements in his truck. He explained all the issues thoroughly. I felt very comfortable having him work in the furnace and would definitely recommend. Thanks!

Oil-fed boiler stopped working right as the temperature dropped over the weekend (predictable). The company we had been using to service it left us hanging (couldn't even schedule a service date, let along come over the weekend). Holbrook answered the phone and got a technician out later that day despite us having no prior relationship with the company. He came within the specified window, was incredibly friendly, and walked us through all of the steps he was taking to diagnose and solve for the issue. Within 30 minutes our heat was back and he was on his way. We'll definitely be switching to Holbrook for our future HVAC needs.

Absolutely Incredible! Tate was professional, tentative and very knowledgeable. In the 22 years I've lived here I've never seen anyone go through taking our boiler apart and clean it like that. A fantastic job, well done! I highly recommend Holbrook Service and I know where I'll be keeping our future business when it comes to HVAC. Thank you!!

Wish I could rate Holbrook more highly. The people seem pleasant and the business operates professionally. But after 3 years and countless service calls, my new Rheem heat pump still fails regularly. While I appreciate the fact that Holbrook continues to provide service under warranty, the unit only works for a short while before requiring yet another service call. I spent roughly $1,000 dollars this past winter for emergency oil when the heat pump wasn't working. Now, with the summer heat in full force, I have to rely on a bedroom window air conditioner to stay cool.

Tim,Aiden and Tate all did awesome work installing a new furnace and servicing another. I couldn't be happier with all the folks at Holbrook!!!
