I chose this company based on great reviews, so I feel compelled to leave mine. I had 2 leaky showers. One from the drain the other from a new shower head I installed improperly. I also needed a new tub spout. I was charged $1100 for 2.5 hours of work and 2 hours for “getting supplies” and the materials needed. I would rather pay extra for quality work, so that isn’t what led me to this review. My son took a shower 2 days after the repaired shower head and more water than before leaked in the walls and ripped my ceiling below open. In addition, the new tub spout was also installed incorrectly and had water coming out the back. I called and they came right back no charge which was good. However, the plumber tried blaming my shower caddy on the leak and the quality of the tub spout on the improper installation. He was slightly condescending when suggesting a few reasons for the leak other than his poor work. Doesn’t matter because he tightened the shower head and voilà! the leak stopped, proving it was caused by his original work. The only problem is that I paid $1100 and now have a ceiling to repair. Also, the new shower head has a detachable part that sprays and leaks STILL. I thought when I asked for it to be properly installed that meant all of it, but I will have to fix that myself I guess. Other points, the plumber kind of boasted about caulking around my tub, which he charged me for and I didn’t ask for, and replacing my other shower head. I don’t see any new caulk and the new shower head took all my great water pressure and it leaks. So I had to spend another $30 to replace that with something better. I’m giving 2 stars because the drain repair seems to be ok so far. The company is also to their word on time. Overall this was not a good experience and I definitely will go elsewhere in the future.

Angelo came out and could not install a valve due to unforeseen problems. He was very friendly, and took his time to explain the situation. He was very patient, understanding with my lack of knowledge in this area, and told me the next steps I need to take in order for me to get a valve installed. I appreciate his time, advice, and knowledge. I also want to thank Cindy who was very knowledgeable when I called to schedule the appointment. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about my situation. I felt safe the entire time he was here and I know I will be scheduling a time for them to return. Thank you so much for being honest and though they were not able to perform service it was better than doing the wrong service. I am very pleased with the visit I had with Angelo.

The guys from EW Tompkins we’re great, they found the leak and made the recommendations to repair. They also installed a dishwasher for me. They found that the wrong copper pipe was used originally (meant for heating not water lines) and identified other places it should be replaced. Great work, communication and professional. Will definaltely be using for my future plumbing needs!

I called EW today to get in asap for an appointment. Cindy answered- very nice. They were able to see me within an hour of my call. Angelo F arrived even a few minutes early! I received text updates when he was on his way, etc. He went above and beyond to help. Repaired my toilet, repaired my leak and asked what else I needed. Took care of snaking my other toilet while here and answering all of my questions. He was extremely professional, courteous, thorough and knowledgeable! He also explained everything so I could understand it! I was happy about the cost when finished. Overall giving Angelo and this company 5 stars and would highly recommend them!! Will be calling back if I need anything else down the road. Thank you Angelo!

I called to have them repair a loose toilet that was also bubbling. The appointment person was great I loved the quote was emailed and received a text message when my appointment was booked. I received another text the morning of the visit. The plumbers were great talked to me about the issue and repaired the toilet to stop it from rocking. But we could not fix the bubble issue and said to get a new toilet. I scheduled the install with them same process, we and picked up a new toilet. He arrived earlier than scheduled by no issue since I work from home. After he was done gave me some advice for future plumbing and went on his way. Great customer service all the way around.

New house with an undisclosed leak. Ordered their diagnostic service which was very prompt. Offering good solution to the problem. They found water leaking in the basement from a bathroom pipe that had broken. It was behind insulation and they still figured it out. Very appreciative of their knowledge.

Receptionist Cindy was extremely friendly when I called looking for help. It was the third company I called and ended up going with them simply because of Cindy’s personable demeanor. Got us in for next day service For a non emergency issue. Scott was great. He was earlier than planned, but I liked that. Explained our leak and even showed me the damaged pipe. Repaired the issue very well and for a good price. Overall, very happy with the customer service and work that was done. Very friendly people. Will use them again.

Angelo was great! He was very thoughtful and thorough. He fixed our issue quickly while also explaining each step of what he was doing so we could understand and follow along. He went out of his way to make sure all of our plumbing needs were taken care of! Would 100% recommend and am definitely going to give them a call next time something breaks!

E.W. Tompkins was super responsive to our call, getting someone over right away when we called with an emergency issue. Problem was resolved. They told us some ways to make improvements/updates but didn't try to force any unnecessary expense upon us. Will definitely use them moving forward

Angelo was awesome! He was in and out in under an hour, even put all of my stuff back! I had my dogs in another room and he was happy to have them out and around him while he worked, 3 other plumbers have been here and unable to fix my sink. Finally it’s fixed, looks so much better (without a bunch of accordion pipes) and the plumber was friendly! Definitely recommend!
