E.W. Tompkins Plumbing Heating Cooling

We needed to replace our garbage disposal and decided to go with E.W. Tompkins. Setting up the appointment was fast and easy, and their frequent texts kept us informed at all times. Angelo arrived on time and was knowledgeable, proficient, neat, and personable. The actual installation went well; very happy with all aspects of the process. Will definitely call them for any future plumbing needs

First off the fact that they answered their phones was great! Its hard to get in touch with contractors. The receptionist took my info and dispatched a technician for a SAME DAY appointment which was AWESOME!!!

I had my oven serviced in June 2022 and the technicians were very knowledgeable and informative. They were friendly. They were thorough when explaining things. Highly recommend. I would definitely work with them again! 🙂

Terrible all around experience, had used them in the past pre-Covid but things have really gone downhill. Got a text that they were on their way, an hour and 10 minutes later I finally called to see where they were and the receptionist said they would check on their status. They showed up about 10 minutes later. They quickly diagnosed the issue but did not have the part required so had to run out to buy the part. The part they bought did not work and they determined that another part would need to be replaced. They said they would get that part and call back to schedule another appointment. They charged me $257 for the hour that they mostly spent shopping for the wrong part. Next day got a call from them expecting them to schedule a new appointment. Nope, they were calling to try and double bill me. I explained that I had already paid and they checked their records and realized I was correct. I then asked about when they were going to come back to finish the job. She was not aware of that so was going to reach out to them and give me a call back. Two weeks passed and nobody called back so I finally called again. This time I explained the situation and the woman assured me she would find out what was going on and call me back right away. That was over 72 hours ago and I have still not heard a thing back. I would not recommend using this company and if you do, absolutely do not pay them a penny until they finish the job! Otherwise they will ghost you and you will be left with a permanently leaky sink.

Great job yet again by E.W. Tompkins plumbing. Angelo explained everything they needed to do to install a new faucet for our kitchen sink and offered to fix a few small leaks we had recently discovered underneath. They completed everything quickly and they were very professional and friendly throughout. Will definitely call them again for our next plumbing job.

We needed a professional to finish hooking up our sink drain for a newly remodeled kitchen. We had roughed in drain plumbing in our basement that needed to be brought up through the floor and new cabinet, with the pipe vented properly and set up for the countertop/sink install. Angelo came to hook everything up, and was very professional and explained the process. He put in clean outs for the drain in the basement and did a great job with finishing all the pvc pipe and venting under the cabinet. The price was reasonable and the office was flexible and easy to work with and get a hold of via phone. Overall an above average experience in dealing with a contractor/plumber/home service tech team we have never worked with before. We will definitely look to them first for future repairs or installs!

I had EW Tompkins out to fix my outdoor hose as well as my shower/tub faucet. They were on time, very professional and quick to get to work. They explained everything they were doing and what the problems were. Would recommend and use again.

I had 3 outdoor faucets needing repair. From scheduling to completion, EW Tompkins was very professional. Angelo came, explained the work and options and did a great job.

The faucet in one of our showers is difficult to regulate. I called E.W. Tompkins to look at it because they installed my Navient hot water heater. They came the next day, which is great; however, they have to come back another day because the job is more complex than I thought it would be. I don't have an access panel in this shower, so we have to install one first. The plumber was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I recommend them highly.

I hired Robert with E W Tompkins to install a shut off valve behind my gas stove. He took the time to thoroughly explain the process and double checked all switches & pipes in the house to ensure everything was safe. His attention to detail & knowledge were very comforting. All aspects of the service were incredibly professional from the appointment text notifications, on time arrival and how he went above & beyond to immaculately clean all spaces he came in contact with even though it wasn’t his responsibility to do so. I was extremely impressed & highly recommend Robert!
