A-Absolute - Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Heating

This is the first review I have ever posted. We have had an issue with water in the basement for years and had many plumbers that were unable to find and fix the issue. Absolute visited and within 30 minutes had diagnosed the issue and was able to locate a hard to find cap to access the catch basin. The drain/pipe line was cleared and restored water to the house.

The absolute worst. The customer service is atrocious. They installed a Trane furnace in Decemver 2017 for $9500. I was in a bind with no heat and we had a 3 month old so I went with what they offered.
I was told that I needed to call them before turning on the air conditioner so they can come out and do something to the unit. The first time I called they said they will be at my house the next day by 6pm. After many unanswered calls and being lied to multiple times they came 2 days later. Gil, the owner, yelled at me on the phone the day AFTER they said they would be there saying they are too busy and "will get there when they get there".
They come to do what ever they needed to do and when I went down to the basement, there was water EVERYWHERE. I called them right away and they said they will send the tech back when he can. When the tech came back he said that whoever installed the new unit (someone from A Absolute) inserted one if the hoses wrong.
Now, February 2019, we thought we should replace the air filter. After googling where the air filter is and not being able to locate where it is, I reluctantly called A Absolute to ask them where the air filter is located. After they took my information down to "look at my file" they never called back. Finally I called them and begged them to just tell me where the filter is and they sent someone to my house to show me.
Turns out they never put a filter in when they installed the unit. So with running the heat and A.C. and heat again throughout the seasons, we didn't have a filter installed at all. Now it makes sense why the air quality in our house is awful.
The guy measured where the filter should go (one place) and gave me 2 different measurements. I call the place they referred me to, GPS, and they tell me they don't carry filters in these sizes. I went to Home Depot and they said the same thing.
This. Place. Sucks.

Update: the owner called me and had someone drop off a box of filters.

A-Absolute did a major plumbing job for me a few days ago, replacing old lead pipes from my laundry room through the wall, underground, out to my curb. The crew did an excellent job and clean-up. They worked for 8 hours without a lunch break, and they were careful and were expertly experienced. They even replanted the bushes! They worked hard and the job was worth every dollar!

DO NOT USE THESE PLUMBERS!!! They are ABSOLUTE criminals. I waited 3 days for service. Two full days of no call no shows and when I confronted them about it they were very rude and lied to me. The day the plumber actually showed up he was 2 hours late and couldn't find my water main. Then once he capped my to sink connections he charged me 240 dollars. Once I asked why it's because there was a contractor in the truck who never entered my house but I had to pay for his time. I cannot stress how awful this company is enough. STAY AWAY and save yourself some money. ABSOLUTE CRIMINALS!!!!!

We had an emergency situation with a pipe bursting in our basement and A-Absolute was the only company that agreed to come on a Sunday afternoon. We had a guy named Luis who was honest, showed us everything he was doing and what he would do the next day. He was fast, courteous and very professional, we would recommend him to anyone that calls. He gave us an estimated time that it would take him to do the work and he did everything right on schedule.

Serviceman came in. Spent 10 minutes. Told me he had Been doing this for a long time. He then told me there was nothing wrong with my air conditioning and this was as good as it could get. My air conditioner blew air but it was not cold. He was clearly wrong. The next day I called in another repair group and they fixed my air conditioner like new.

Absolute waste of time. Had 11AM appointment I called 11:20 for update. They said plumber was 20 minutes away. I called 12:05 still not here. He arrived a few minutes later. You advertise 60 minutes or less but arrive 60 minutes late with no courtesy call. Why would I pay your premiums for you being unprofessional and inconsiderate. I will be posting my dissatisfaction with every social media I can to make others aware of your business practices.

My wife and I used A-Absolute and we’re thrilled with the level of professional service we received. Our hot water heater broke and out basement was flooded. Jean from A-Absolute was able to come out the same day and not only help us with the hot water heater, but recommended and installed a sump pump, to prevent the flooding from happening again. Jean was very quick and knowledgeable. We will definitely be using A-Absolute again.

Had a great experience with A- Absolute plumbing this was a extremely prompt professional and priced Right ..Company ..The tech. That showed up Raffi was extremely neat ,clean and explained thoroughly throughout whole job exactly what was happening in this whole ordeal of a mess that we were in , he took a very stressful situation and made it very easy I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs I would leave 10 stars for this co. The entire experience was great. They told us what the two options would be and we are thankful that the first option worked. They were open and honest about if the same situation occurs again we will have to do option B but told us the cost ahead of time. We even picked their ear about a project we were thinking of doing and they gave us an open and honest answer again. We will definitely be calling them for services in the future!
