I believe it was David and Blake who responded to my home and evaluated my issues with a possible sewer line leaking. After their own evaluation David recommended I monitor the situation instead of scoping the line with a camera and charging me $150. Their hasn't been an issue with the line and I saved some money. Nick is amazing! He originally came out to give me a quote for removing our old shower valve and replacing it with a new one that I had bought. Once he arrived, I added a request for a quote to move the shower drain. No problem for Nick! I also sprung a clogged kitchen sink on him while he was here (it had clogged the night before and we couldn't fix it ourselves) so I asked him to do that as well. Nick was polite, professional, and friendly the entire time. Even though he ended up doing more work than originally intended, he never once acted like it was an imposition. Then, when I asked what his availability was to do the shower drain and valve, he said the next evening!!! Nick was truly amazing and we now have a plumbing, heating, and cooling company that we will use for everything. The shower valve was switched out and the drain was moved without any problems. He was quick and efficient and communicated with me the entire time. We are thoroughly impressed by Nick, you can tell he enjoys what he does.

Having bought and moved into a 17 year old condo with my daughter, Hawthorne came to check out the plumbing items that had been flagged by the Home Inspector; during the purchasing process.
Within 24 hours we had a new up to current code gas water heater. New steel washing machine hoses were also installed. New parts have been ordered for the master bathtub faucet handles.
This was the 3rd time I have used their services. They are highly responsive and reliable. No call backs have been needed. So it is a pleasure to recommend Hawthorne to others!

The plumber showed up and it just seemed as though something was off. He seemed very distracted, as though other things were more important, and took many calls during the 15-20 min he was at our home to quote moving a shower faucet where the wall was already open. He was not personable at all. He checked a few things and then gave a $1300 quote and said that we needed a few different things. The quote just for the shower was $700. Incredibly overpriced, not personable, and acted as though we were an inconvenience. his demeanor towards us and the job overall was enough to turn us away from the service, then the incredibly high quote put the nail in the coffin.

Jon B. did an outstanding job of making sure our air conditioning functioned well in all of our rooms, including the difficult to cool upstairs. He was the most conscientious service technician we have had the pleasure to meet in a long time. We had both of our aging condensers replaced together w one of the air handlers. Hawthorne's pricing was fair and Jon's supervisor was very supportive of the additional time it took to get it right. I would highly recommend Hawthorne and ask for Jon B.!

They were prompt to come out for a ceiling leak in a bathroom. The tech was polite and had booties to protect the floor. A manifold was leaking and water was coming out of the light fixture. The service call was 59.$ if the did repairs it would be deducted from the work done. The estimated cost of repairs was $695. I was taken back at the price. I decided to call my insurance company to determine if that would be a better route. Well insurance does not cover the cause of personal property damage. So out of pocket for the manifold repair. Same tech was back within an hour and another hour the leak was repaired.
They are not the least expensive but in an emergency one has to do what they must do.

Highly recommended! The technician was very friendly and efficient and when he was done he explained everything he did. He gave me several options for the repairs and several suggestions to help me save money. I will definitely use them again!

Of course I had a house full of people when my main line got clogged at 9:00 at night. I called a few places in the morning and Hawthorne was able to get out that day and actually put me up on the list so we’re able to come in the morning. The technician was great. Figured out the issue and quickly took care of it. I was very happy.

I had them do a leak detection on my under ground water line from the street to house. They did a good job communicating when the technician was going to come out and he was there on time. The technician explained the process ( what he was going to do) and I appreciate him taking the time to explain it to me. I also appreciate the call back from one of the managers to explain more details of the work and the type of equipment used for the leak detection.
