3 visits, still short cycling and hot. Replaced capacitor and fan motor. Probably milking home warranty company . Update. On their 4th visit, guy went into the attic and discovered condensate lines were never installed. Called the company and said they couldn't get parts for 3 months. Called Polar Air, fixed it the next day. Will be dropping American Home Shield.
I highly recommend Dr Cool and technician Cody. Ordered heat/furnace repair through home warranty. Cody from Dr Cool was on time, put on booties over his shoes before entering the house, was professional throughout, diagnosed and repaired the issue quickly. Also their office staff was very pleasant on the phone and followed up with you after the repair. They also called within minutes after I made the request on home warranty site to set up appointment. This is what every repair experience should be!
Our initial consult from Matt was thorough and resulted in a quick communication with the office in order to get the part our furnace required. Office (Sarah) was communicative with us about order status of the part, and within 1 week called to schedule our follow up for the repair. Adrian was awesome as he not only completed the repair, but even went back up into the attic to reinspect the furnace based on me telling him the story about why we called the home ware company in the first placeā¦the house was filling with smoke! He put my mind at ease about all things checking out and assuring me they could come back out if anything else went awry with the heating unit. Thank you so VERY MUCH!!
We had Greg and Ricardo out to the house to do a system maintenance check and they did a great job. Very friendly and professional. We'll be sure to call the company again to have them out for a repair if there becomes a need in the future.
I used my home warranty and specifically asked for Dr. Cool. Andy and Jeremy were on-time, and fixed my A/C in a timely manner. That is why I recommed Dr. Cool. I "trust Dr. Cool" and you should too.
Doctor Cool was referred to me by my Home Warranty company. I got a call from their office within 30 minutes of submitting the work request. The lady on the phone was very pleasant and worked on getting me scheduled. I was scheduled for a Saturday from 10a. to 2p.
Cody (our technician) called me around 930am. to let me know he was about 30 to 40 min away. He arrived at 10 am sharp, with his face mask and shoe coverings (as requested).
Cody asked what the issue was and got right to work on the furnace in the attic. In less than 25 min, he had it back up and running. He checked the pressure valve, which ended up having a weak connection (some wires were a little too tight) that reduced its connectivity. He freed up the wires, wire tied them neatly, and buttoned everything up nicely.
I will say that I did have another local company come out earlier in the week, and they did a diagnostic, resulting in proposed work that ranged from $4500 to completely replacing the unit....hmmmmmm.
A huge thank you to Cody for his professionalism and honesty. He was very professional and humble. Thank you, Cody. ***on a side note, the office called about 15 minutes after Cody had left to ensure the work was completed and that I was satisfied. Kudo's to Cool Doctor for the level of service thy provided. They will be my first call next time I need AC/HVAC service.

Terrible experience with this company. Angel came out 7/21 and replaced a condenser fan motor for upstairs AC unit. Less than a week later the fan cover cracked along the screws where he had installed it. He returned on a recall and submitted paperwork to the home warranty company that was for the wrong unit, saying it was the the downstairs.
When I called and spoke with a manager she stated he had never worked on the unit. When I advised that he had, confirmed by the receipt (including matching serial number so as no confusion) she disconnected and the office said she was now in a meeting and unavailable despite less than two minutes passing.
I was referred to Doctor Cool by AHS, my home warranty company. I was given a 4 hour window when they would be there. The technician, Cody, called and arrived within the window of time. Cody was professional and knowledgeable about the furnace and fixed the problem. I was very pleased with the service.
