Kevin came out in a timely manner to assess our furnace when it stopped working. He was honest and made sure to check everything out. I figure with the age of our furnace it was dead when it stopped working Thursday AM. An hour after Kevin diagnosed our furnace as needing to be replaced, Ben came out and priced everything out. He was upfront about pricing and explained everything really well to us. He was also very quick with all his work which was appreciated.

Grant and Jake were both very professional and considerate. They worked efficiently to get our HVAC replaced when our 31 year old furnace died and we needed heat in our home before a cold snap for ourselves and our baby. We had heat by 3pm on Friday after they worked all day to get it up and going which was great turnaround time in my opinion. Both of them were thoughtful when it came to shoe covers on our carpet and putting drop clothes down to minimize dirt in and out. Grant came back Monday to finish things up and went through all the details with me in terms I understood having no HVAC knowledge.

A1 replaced my AC and furnace. They were on time and finished before the estimated time they said it would be done. Paul and Zander were the technicians that came out and they did a wonderful job. Very clean with their work and professional.

For almost a year now, I have been working with Chris, an installation technician with A-1 United Heating, Air & Electrical, in the Council Bluffs, IA - new construction residential homes industry. He is very helpful, honest, positive, professional, and works quickly and efficiently. Chris has an excellent work ethic and goes above and beyond what he can, to ensure everything is completed and operational- not just for me, the Superintendent /Builder, but also for the customers' and their biggest investment, their home.

Needed 2 new furnace & A/C units. I felt very confident knowing that I was not getting "over sold." All appointments have been on-time! They even called for a follow-up and were on time for that also.

I recently called and spoke with Ben Micek regarding a dryer vent in my attic that was flex pipe and completely frozen. He quickly got me in touch with the service manager who explained the issue and resolution that was needed. We got something scheduled only a couple days out. The service team, Austin and Brayden, showed up right on time and completed the job in less than an hour. They were professional and courteous and did not leave a mess, you wouldn’t have even known they were there! The hard pipe was installed perfectly and insulated so this won’t ever happen again! I would highly recommend A-1 to anyone looking for a company to do the job right!

Replacement of the whole HVAC system. Great experience with service. Grant was outstanding. He paid attention to the details. Brayden worked really hard during the 2 days.
