Update May 17, 2022:. I can't say enough good things about A-1 United!!!! I needed service and they delivered. After 20 years of service for me they are still as good if not better than ever! Today was a more complicated repair due to some bad advice from a friend to improve the air flow. Technically the advice worked, but led to bigger issues. A-1 explained everything to me and showed me what was going on so I could see it with my own eyes and avoid making the same mistake. Low and behold I will have more work and eventually a replacement unit. However, they were able to provide a good fix and we are working on a plan for next steps. It is hard to express my gratitude in words, but they made this leas stressful. THANK YOU!!!!!!

I have used A-1 for over 20 years. They are reliable and I won't use anyone else! Their prices are also fair! They have handled new AC and furnace installations as well as repairs for me. I have never had to call them back out because they get the job done quickly and do it right!

I've been using A-1 since 2016 and have nothing but great things to say. Every technician we have arrives promptly and is professional and courteous. I pay one bill for the year, which includes a tune-up for the furnace, ac, and humidifier, emergency service, and a discount on equipment. One New Year's Day, our heat went out, and they arrived within a few hours of me calling. Highly recommend!

Ben micek was really helpful and clear on the differences and benefits of each system, which allowed me to pick the units that worked for me. The techs Grant and Zander quickly and professionally installed our AC and Heating unit just in time before summer picked up and got hot.

FWIW - My tech (Jim) was fantastic. I don't think the A1 United maintenence or repair business model is very wallet friendly for the customer. Ask them about their Lennox AC warranty/"parts warranty pricing" before you buy a new system from them. I puchased an AC unit in 2017 with a 10 year warranty. The motor capacitor went out. It cost me $239 to have a $30-$50 part installed under warranty. I understand the $90 fee to send the tech out. I don't like the the $120 capacitor pricing. It works like this - A1 pays Lennox $50 for the part. A1 marks the part up to $170. A1 then discounts the marked up price by what they paid Lennox and calls it "warranty pricing". This business model pretty much fleeces the customer by however much A1 deems necessary based on parts demand - high demand = high price. This is not a very value or customer friendly business model. Do your homework.

Ben Micek was so helpful I explain what we needed and getting us setup asap. He answered all my questions and made the process easy. The installers Gordon and Ron were professional got the new system installed and running in one day as promised. Highly recommended.

Was told it was $95 + $10 for a service call to check my blower fan that I was already told the bearing was bad on by another technician. Then it would be $140 per hour in 15 minute intervals to replace it. Tech came out and said it does sound bad and then said he had to quote me to replace it as they have standard costs for something under warranty. The quote was + or - $650 to replace a blower motor that was under warranty. Due to this I told him I wasn't interested and he could leave.
On the positive side, is the technician was polite and curtious.

Was out of town during an extreme cold spell and checked my Nest to make sure the furnace was working correctly. The temp had dropped to low 50's, switched from echo to heat and monitored it for a couple more hours. Things continued to deteriorate so called A-1 United after business hours to set up something up for the next day but followed the menu to get emergency services and a tech was at the house at 1:00 AM reporting on the problems. The units were 26 yrs old and I decided it was time to replace instead of paying for more repairs. Estimator was at the house early the next day, we decided on an appropriate furnace/AC unit and temporarily put in the unit to get the heat going by noon and finished the job over the next couple days. Great service and found out after the fact that we were treated fairly on the price. Couldn't ask for more.
