What an amazing experience. They handled everything. The two installers who came out were incredible and took the time to show us everything we needed. The consultation was great and that guy was super knowledgeable and very friendly. It took about 4 hours to rip out my old internal fan hardware and my outdoor unit and install the new ones. My house has never been colder. They also completed the registration with Rheem for me and emailed me the certificate.

Hands down, best AC/Heating service you can call.

3/27/2021 Update:

Today was the first really warm day in St Louis. We got up to about 81 degrees. Knowing this in advance, I turned my air on for my dogs when we left for the day today. I checked the thermostat settings a few hours into my day on the Nest App and saw that the temperature inside my house was 80, despite the air being on. Alarmed, I headed back to my house to find out what the issue was, as I was concerned about my dogs. When I got home, the air coming out of my vents was hot, not cold. I checked the actual thermostat instead of the app on my phone, and sure enough the air conditioner was set and the thermostat believed it was on.

Frantic, I called Central Air Heating and Cooling and spoke with Gordon. Let me tell you all- this guy knows his stuff. Based on my description, he pretty much knew what the issue was and walked me through fixing it over the phone, saving a service call and getting my air working right.

The issue wasn't a bad install or a faulty unit. No, in this case, for whatever reason, the Nest thermostat reassigned one of the wires it connects to to toggle the heat on, instead of the AC. The AC worked perfectly last summer and the heat kept us warm all winter. But for whatever reason, Google's Nest thermostat changed something on its own.

However, as I mentioned, Gordon saved the day. He walked me through the Nest settings and helped me reassign the wire to AC. I turned it on again after changing that setting and the unit began blasting cold air perfectly.

Gordan repaired my son's Air conditioner quickly and had it up and running in no time. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about exactly what needed to be done. Would definitely recommend and will use this company again.

We had an air conditioner that was 36 years old. On Saturday morning of a holiday weekend, the unit died. We called Central Air Heating and Cooling for emergency service. To our surprise, Gordon showed up about an hour later and diagnosed the problem as a blown compressor. My AC wouldn't turn on and Central was able to come out the next day. George tested the system to find a leak had drained it of all Freon. He soldered a likely joint in the copper line near the furnace, tested the system, and had my house cool later that day. The pricing seemed appropriate and his work was quick and professional. Pleasant guy as well.

I called Central Air in the morning and they had a technician out that afternoon. Pat did a great job locating and repairing three gas line leaks and securing a loose vent pipe. The job was done professionally and in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend Central Air to any friends, family or clients!

This morning Gordon White installed a control board on our furnace. This guy was so professional and explained everything to us. I called the company last Thursday and within 2 hours Gordon was at our home. After his examination he sent us an estimate right away.

My air went out in early June, when it was mid 90s outside. I placed the call at 4:30pm on a Friday and Gordon was here within a couple of hours. He put together several options for me and they replaced my air conditioner on Monday. I couldn’t be happier. The installers, Billy and Nick, were very professional and left everywhere clean and neat. Would highly recommend.
