United Heating Cooling and Plumbing

We love United Heating, Cooling and Plumbing! We’ve used them for many years. Our new HVAC system was installed by Billy and AJ and they were friendly, helpful and professional. Highly recommend United!

We have used United since 2016 for our HVAC needs (we have 3 systems) and have found them to be consistently professional, reliable, and very responsive. Highly recommended.

I had united replace my entire unit inside and out last October. Service was good at the time, friendly and seemed to be helpful. We had some issues come up and had a tech come out to look at the unit. The tech informed us that the unit was not fully installed and it was not replaced as I expected. Part of the issue is causing my pilot light to blow out over and over that the tech explained, this issue should have been fixed when the new unit was installed. Another issue is that the humidifier was tossed when they installed the new unit and was not replaced.

With all that said, my reason for one star is we saw the tech at our house over 6 weeks ago, no response from United on how they are planning to correct these issues. Also my wife has called twice in the past three weeks to get any sort of answer, and nothing. No answers... No response.

I get that United has bigger issues and more customers to sell, but come on... Can you please Just tell you’re going to stiff me on these issues so I can get it fixed either way.

John came out with a good overview of what the work would entail with a cost. The tech, Justin, made contact with us and was at the house in 20 mins. Got our new A/C unit and A-Coil installed, tested and explained to me, what he did. Great job and very happy with the work.
Just a note, though. John mentioned bringing out 3 bags of mulch to work in around the new base. Justin must not have gotten the word, but I’m still happy with everything else.

Anthony, just happened to be in our basement doing our cooling maintenance when he heard water drips behind him coming from the ceiling. He immediately got my attention so we began looking for the source. He suggested a bucket. Check. He and my husband pulled the dryer out to look at the washer faucet connections on 1st floor. Anthony checked them. Looked good. In the meantime I called United to ask for a plumber. Stacey answered and was very concerned so transferred me to plumber scheduling who fit me into their afternoon schedule when they were full. By the time Jake showed at 2:15, we pretty much suspected a leak in the 2nd floor bathtub which he confirmed and repaired when he found the drain’s shoe was cracked. Fortunately the water had stopped because the morning shower by my family member was finished. Jake suggested Power Dry when he discovered the pantry ceiling below the tub 1st floor was wet. Power Dry was at our house within an hour! We’ve used United for years. We’ve always had positive experiences with every employee. Anthony. You went above and beyond to help us. Ty! Stacey, the plumbing coordinator, and Jake. Ty! All of you for caring!!! You’re the best! What a day!

I needed to have my furnace replaced. I decided to get a few different bids on the work that I wanted to have done. After my first visit with a company I realized just how much work needed to be done. The pitch of my hot water heater was off and it wasn’t up to code. The AC unit wasn’t up to code, and my furnace wasn’t up to code, and WAY past its prime... I knew that I couldn’t have just anyone replace my equipment.

I had called around and got a couple different bids but I just couldn’t reconcile myself to the cost of them, and the amount of work. I just happened to see a United Heating & Cooling van on my lunch break and decided I needed to give them a call. I meet with John S. on a Monday, and I really liked everything that he was telling me. I scheduled appointments with an installer the next day, and on Thursday they pitched my hot water heater correctly and got that up to code, installed a new furnace up to code, and a new ac unit up to code.

I paid a lot of money (well, to me anyway) and it was worth EVERY penny. Highly recommended!!

United Heating worked on our house in Lees Summit and did a great job! Our technician never missed our scheduled appointment and was very professional. We never had trouble with our billing or the dispatch and would definitely recommend United to our friends and family. If you want top quality service United is a great company.

I've had great experiences with this company at my office, and obviously thought of them first when my home air-conditioner went out. They came in fixed the problem with fair pricing, and professionalism! These workers are always working in severe heat conditions, and now they are in masks too! I wore mine for his protection, and I was dying just sitting on the couch! We appreciate you United staff!!!

I was very pleased with my service from United Heating and Cooling. Ben was very diligent to make sure everything was left clean and tidy. I have used United for many years and they have always provided good and fair services for me.

United deserves 6 stars. We are currently without AC, and we have an infant in the house. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that we are getting our AC back on, and keeping our little one safe. Thank you, United!
