Our AC went out completely last weekend. It was a hot, miserable weekend like I’ve never experienced.

I reached out to All About Comfort on Sunday through their online submission and received a text shortly after asking if we wanted to set an appointment the next day!

James & Max showed up as their first stop on Monday. They looked things over and gave me options from attempting to repair, to replace the A-coil (that had been leaking), or a full replacement and upgrade.

With the age of our home and being the original system we opted to replace. They said it would be Friday, maybe Thursday before they would be there. They showed back up in the afternoon after I got off work and loaned me two window AC units to take the edge off.

They came through with a Wednesday morning install! The install/replacement went off without a hitch! Our house is now cool. It’s cool in a way that I don’t think it had been before. They temps at the far end of the house from the AC were cool and comfortable even with us running the AC 2-3, if not four, degrees warmer than we used to have to.

Thanks James and Max for a job well done at a fair and reasonable price!

I had "All About Unprofessionalism" repair a broken AC. They determined that it was a wiring issue from when our smart thermostat was installed by Evergy. He was a nice guy and he got the AC working and then left with no issue. I later go into my utility room (where he was working) and notice that there is a wire hanging in the middle of the room with 3 exposed wires hanging from it.

I ask their customer service person to send someone to cap those wires and hide them back where they came from. Which would have been no issue, I'm sure he could have just forgot that the wires were left exposed when he was working. She then reached out to the tech and owner and they say that "its fine". I then repeatedly ask to speak to the owner and they "pass my info along to the owner" of course the owner never calls. I call again a week later and same refusing to fix the issue. Even if those exposed wires are "safe" around my dog and 10 year old (not a chance I want to take especially after I paid for a service) they should still be capped and hidden. Especially in a utility room where it is right next to my water heater, furnace, washer and dryer lots of moisture, metal, and gas in that room. I am far from being an electrician but I would never want my business represented by unsafe an unsightly work.

I 100% recommend that you run far, far, far, far away from this company based on how they handled this entire situation. Picture below that I sent them when I requested that they cap and hide the wires.

Edit: Please see the owners dishonest reply where they continue the unprofessionalism. I never cussed out anyone and they are lying about the wires being exposed prior to them coming. Sad way to operate a business.

They did a great job for us! We submitted a claim through our home warranty provider for a problem with our AC and they called an hour later to schedule a visit the next day. It turned out all we needed was our refrigerant recharged and a small part replaced. They did everything on the spot in about 30 minutes and didn’t try to up charge or sale us on anything we didn't need. I’d recommend their service to others.

We were charged $500 for a 30 minute visit that included the replacement of 2 parts including one that wasn't broken.

We were charged $185 for a part (1 capacitor) that was NOT broken. Normal price is around $9.00. That is a markup of over 21 TIMES the normal retail cost.

We were charged $225 for the part (contactor) that actually needed replacement. Normal price is around $14. That's a markup of 17 TIMES the normal retail cost.

Parts price markups (25-100%) are normal but I’ve never seen any this high.
We were charged $89.95 for the service call itself, bringing the total to $499.95.

I asked for a partial refund and offered to take the parts off myself and return for a partial refund, but they said no (not even for the $185 capacitor that didn't need replacement).
Be patient & get bids from multiple companies or do it yourself. I was in a rush and I paid the price.

We were extremely pleased with the service we received from this company. Their name "All About Comfort" fits them. Not only were they expedient in responding, their customer service is awesome keeping us informed through the whole process. Our furnace quit on a weekend and we assumed we'd have to wait til Monday to get a response, but they were in communication the same day we called it in and were at our door first thing Monday morning to assess the problem. The young man that installed the furnace was super polite, respectful and thorough in his work. AND what a gift to have him clean up after he was done. We will be quick to refer this company to anyone with an HVAC need.

I would give 0 stars if possible. Professionalism and customer service are the most important to me when hiring out any company and this one simply dropped the ball.

We had the unfortunate experience of selecting AACHC when our AC didn't work at the beginning of this summer. I can't speak to the customer service of the technician who arrived, as I was at work while he was there. I came home to a working AC, so at minimum he did his job. However, we noticed afterwards that there was exposed wiring in our utility closet as a result of his work. We contacted the company in an attempt to get this oversight fixed and were told both the owner and technician deemed exposed wires an acceptable way to leave a job.

Additionally, when my partner left a negative review for the company in response to their refusal to fix the exposed wires they left, they continued their unprofessionalism by lying both about my partner's conduct and about the exposed wire. Upon further investigation of Google reviews, we are not the first family the company has retaliated against for leaving bad reviews. This level of unprofessionalism when handling disgruntled customers speaks volumes about a company's values and an owner's character.

Do yourself a favor and pick a company that isn't only great when they do their jobs 100% correctly, but a company who can also be great in their faults. A great company can admit/accept their faults and do what they can to correct them when they occur. To be clear, the company could've easily still received a great review even with the exposed wiring left had they handled the situation in a more professional manner. The 0-star rests entirely on their refusal to fix the sloppy job they left and their continued unprofessional and dishonest handling when their refusal to fix their mistakes was made public.

Had a great experience getting my water heater replaced. Max was very polite and quickly replaced the unit and Renee was super helpful in getting everything scheduled. I would definitely call them again for future maintenance.

they installed a new water heater and took out a water softener system. The 2 service technicians were outstanding. Very knowledgeable. Although there was a slight hiccup that left us without any water for a few days, they worked tirelessly to fix the issue. When the main water shut off/meter outside froze, they helped me get a hold of the city to fix the issue, twice even. I am very happy with the service. Plus, my dog absolutely loved the technicians.
