McCarver Mechanical Heating & Cooling

Horrible experience with this company. I called this company this winter, and its been suck a bad experience. I hate to right reviews, but in this instance I have too. Company came out in January, looked at my furnace and told me a vent motor needs to be replaced.
They told me the vent motor is used for carbon dioxide removal and is a very dangerous situation. I later found out that the vent motor does deal with carbon dioxide but is not a dangerous situation if it goes bad. So they replaced that and as soon as they put it in, THEY TELL ME the electronic circuit board is bad as well and needs to be replaced. At this point I feel helpless, but I didn't want to call another company and start over with the charges. They end up replacing this part, and it worked fine for about a month. It stopped working again, I called them and they have the audacity to tell me they will have to charge me a service charge to come out again (former customer rate), I'm sorry that's ridiculous. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRYING YOUR LUCK WITH ANOTHER COMPANY.

If you’re having trouble getting a HVAC person these are your guys. Extremely professional! They came on time and fixed everything ASAP. I can’t speak in price because I didn’t compare but when you’re out of A/C in the middle of July you don’t care what it cost haha

Furnace maintenance call was handled very professionally. Very thorough, took his time to get things right. Good detailed explanation of what was done. I wish we had known of this company earlier.

We use them for all our heating and cooling needs - from duct work to a furnace install. Most recently they repaired our hot water heater vent on our chimney, which was no small task. The work is always quality, and their people are always kind, friendly, and professional.

We had a small emergency where one of the connecting pipes to our hot water heater sprung a leak. I called McCarver Heating and Cooling and I was greeted by a friendly and helpful female voice. (I am sorry forgot her name) She got me scheduled with a tech to show up to our house that morning. The tech's name was Joe and he did a great job figuring out the problem which was a very simple replacing of the pipe. Joe was very professional and courteous. I was very impressed with the high level of service from Joe and at the same time he went the extra mile when he was taking a look at the wiring of the hot water heater he showed me the inner workings and explained how they worked (I was pretty clueless). I would say to the owner of this business give Joe a raise he deserves it! I am sure if there is ever an issue again or we need a future service McCarver H and C will be on the very top of our list for a phone call. They have earned it!

My furnace stopped working after the terrible flooding on August 11th. I had another company come out and they said I needed a whole new furnace and it was going to cost me around $3000. And I just had my furnace replaced about 2 years ago! McCarver came out and made sure nothing was wet or dirty. Then they replaced the circuit board and everything worked perfectly fine. The price was extremely fair and they came out in a very timely fashion. I would recommend McCarver to anyone.

Sorry I should have wrote this review a month ago to brag about Chris and his company.

The last bad storm we had knocked out our power when everything turned backed on except the AC unit I was worried, called Chris and he was over that evening to fix it. Very quick, friendly, and the best price in the world. I will always use this company for any heating & cooling problems that may happen in my home and highly recommend him to anybody in need of an excellent company. THANK YOU Chris!

These guys are awesome. After being told I need to replace my A/C because it was not repairable, I called McCarver Mechanical. They came out and diagnosed my problem and determined the problem was a $50 part. I asked if it was necessary to replace the system. They told me the were no signs it needs to be replaced now. I really appreciate the honesty this company has. It is too rare now a days.
