Me and my husband have been going back and forth and being dragged around by this company for close to a month at this point. They showed up the first time unaware of the actual work they where supposed to have done (We where getting regular matenience done and we need a filter box installed on our furnace). They where supposed to call us the next day with the estimate, they didn't, we ended up having to call them multiple times. Come to find out the guy left without taking pictures, measurements or anything he needed for the estimate, which we didn't find out till they called to cancel our second appointment (gave us a hard time about rescheduling too). Our second appointment was supposed to be for the installation of the filter box but turns they where only going to come give us an estimate. On Thursday the women in the office told my husband to email them pictures and they can give us an estimate and would call us the next day to make an appointment. Its now Monday and even though we tried calling them again and sending a follow up email we have heard nothing. There appears to be incredibly poor communication amongst this company as mistakes and misunderstandings have constantly been made during this process. We understand that many companies are short staffed and backed up right now but we have been going out of our way to try and work with what we thought was a well reviewed company in our community (we are only half a mile away from them). Christine seemed helpful but the other women we talked with had an attitude at times. Not having a filter box is a fire hazard and we wasted so much time with this company.

When one contracts a company as a 1st time customer, one never knows what to expect. But from the first onsite visit from McCarver, I felt assured of great industry knowledge and workmanship. Scheduled quickly and though Kyle was young, he had a deep understanding of this industry, applied that to our situation, which I found very informative. Soon after, within a day or two, Chris McCarver visited and recommended not only a terrific replacement unit but could easily recognize what prior contractors chose to ignore here. Poor air flow design of the vent boot and virtually no base beneath the furnace. They ever so quietly completed their "class A" work within a day, cleaned up every thing and we couldn't be happier with a truly professional experience. Thank you.

We hired McCarver Heating and Cooling to install a new system for our sunroom. What we found was a company that was easy to work with, knew their craft and their product. They exceeded expectations on delivery time. On installation day, the crew was professional, courteous, and clean. I would highly recommend them.

A previous installer had botched my ductless heating unit installation. Cody and his co-worker reinstalled the units so that they are working perfectly. Also they were polite, prompt, and professional.

We had McCarver Mechanical come to our house to fix our 2 Zone system. They came out and diagnosed the issue and also found a faulty Thermostat and just went ahead to install a new thermostat. The thermostat installed I can buy for 70$ and install myself. McCarver charged me 240$ for material only. This is a scam!

UPDATE 12/22/2020:

McCarver has tried to fix things after our review and refunded us the amount charged for the thermostat.
The company tried to understand our issues and clearly took our complaints seriously.
Our biggest concern was the communication in regards of the work that will be done and the related costs. We also understood that the service call fee would include the diagnosis of the issue and only the necessary repair would be charged extra. The company should make it clear when making the appointments that the service call fee is a charge to get someone out to your house and the diagnosis is part of the repair costs charged.
The work itself was performed professionally and clean. The personnel was wearing shoe covers and face masks and was polite throughout the service.

The young lady I spoke with to schedule was phenomenal. She went out of her way to check to see if I could get an earlier appointment. Chris came out. He did his thing. Labeled the parts, got heat coming to family room in an hour. Removed an ancient thermostat and replaced it with one I had. Checked lines or was sure they didn't need to be blown out. He said no need to do something if it is working. He was very professional. Very attentive. Listened to my concerns. AWESOME. They are my new go to for my boiler! I highly recommend.

A very professional and knowledgeable crew installed new furnace and ac. They went beyond normal service and replaced rusted item and faulty thermostat. Reasonably priced, communicate and follow up great. You can’t go wrong with McCarver Mechanical.
