I just bought my first home, and wasn't sure how I should recruit a HVAC technician that I could trust. I sent out a mass message on Yelps help feature, and Kaltec replied back quickly with a phone number. I called and was after explaining that I simply needed a certificate that my Heat Exchange was working, I was given available slots for the next day! I chose from 2pm-4pm as my slot, and was given the estimate over the phone, but they let me know that the services I was requesting was eligible for a DTE incentive as well. He arrived promptly the next day shortly after 2pm, had done my test within the hour, and gave me a rundown on the workings of my boiler and how to secure the DTE incentive. They accepted cards over their electronic device, and my receipt was sent to my email, as was my report. 10/10 recommend these guys. I will be calling them back to do a little more work for me too!

I am so lucky I found them. My furnace stopped working, a technician sent by my home warranty company came two times and couldn't fix the problem. My house is freezing, I had to find a contractor myself. I called 5 heating contractors they all booked and cannot come this week. Kaltec is the only one that can come the same day. I called them in the morning and they came in the afternoon. the technician Kal is so experienced and efficient, he diagnosed my furnace and found out the problem in 15mins. they ordered a new control unit, and the new part came the next day, Kal came in the afternoon to replaced it. They saved my day. I do appreciate that they are so quick and reliable. I never wrote reviews before, but I must do this time for Kaltec. I would definitely recommend them to my friends. Excellent services!

Air conditioning went out on Memorial Day, Kaltec Heating & Cooling came out the same day and were able to get it going. Kal was excellent and very professional, he explained everything to me which made me feel very comfortable. Great response time and I would definatly recommend them, they are my new go to for any future HVAC needs.

Kal came out on a Saturday when no other company would do so. They all said we'd have to wait until Monday to repair on our leaking furnace boiler.
So we would have had no heat or water until then. He was professional and thorough. His expertise was evident in his care about his work. He explained everything and did an excellent job. Kal of Kaltec is the best.

Horrible company. New furnace installed incorrectly and it has broke down 3 times since installed 2 months ago. Also this company doesn't have 24 hour service they lie. Everytime the new furnace broke down we had to go without heat for a day and night. They also promised a $250 credit for DTE and that never happened after many empty promises for company. Bad communication between employee and mis management at it's best. Please stay away from Kaltec heating!

Both of the techs were very friendly quick and efficient very careful with their boots and dirt in the house. Would recommend!

DTE shut off my AC unit for some reason and no other company would get back with me. They responded within 24 hours and came out 2 days later, had the problem fixed within an hour. Great service would use them again

Our water heater went out and Kaltec had done work for us in the past so on a Sunday night I sent a text requesting a call the next day. I got an immediate text back asking questions and giving instructions on how to try to light the pilot. I could not. Monday. Before noon Kal was out and got the pilot lit. He also let me know what the cost would be for a new hot water tank, the price for a new starter, and what to expect That is what we liked about the company in the past. They are trustworthy and tell you exactly what to expect and what you need. We will continue to use Kaltec and recommend you do the same!

I called because my AC wasn’t giving out cool air the tech came out to inspect it told me there was no freon and the compressor was damaged and that it was old even though the unit itself was 5 yrs old than convinced us we had to get a new AC so we cAlled to get a second opinion and sure enough the cotton build up was removed around the unit and clean up and the Freon was full so now it’s working. The tech said the Freon was empty. Nice guy but I felt scammed and my second opinion service call saves me $3500. I guess you can’t trust them which is a shame dying these pandemic hard times 😞

I had a great experience with this contractor. There were a couple of projects that they have e done for us so far. Kaltec have been very fair with thier prices, they’ve shown up every single time when the said they would and most of all they left our jobs sites clean. Even in the cities where the code inspectors are a little tough, what ever violations that needed to be address, they made the adjustments and we’ve passed every inspection so far without delays.

I was honored when they asked me if I would give them a honest review to help there rankings. I have no problem sharing what I know about good companies. And in my opinion, this is a very good company.
