after calling 7 companies yesterday to fix my heating issues, i about lost hope. then i called Kaltec, and even though I was on hold for a bit, I didn’t mind. The representative I spoke to, I believe her name was Terry, Amazing!! Super friendly, informative, and explained she was training, but i wouldn’t have even noticed she was awesome! The techs Dakota and Amr came out right on time yesterday for the service visit, and communicated they’d have to come back, and again today right on time! Amr was quick, efficient, and friendly! I’m so glad i called them!! Thank you Kaltec for your quick, friendly service!!

I am writing the review RIGHT NOW (technician JUST left) because I want to refer Kaltec Heating and Cooling to EVERYONE! Pricing was fair and the service was 5 Star!
I came home today to a very hot house that was at 84º. I made a call to Kaltec at 4:44pm and got Ryan Start on the line. We discussed my issues (cold air not coming out... Ryan had me go outside and verify the central air was not running and the coils were not cold or frozen) and said it sounded like my capacitor was blown. He transferred me to a very friendly receptionist/scheduler who got me on the books, same day. I got a text verifying the appt from 5-6p and was super happy to get another text at 5:21 that technician, Dakota Gray, was on the way. Dakota was friendly and fast and was done by 635pm! New capacitor and a cleaning on the unit was done and I had COLD a/c coming out of my vents!!
I've had several clients use Kaltec and they have all been impressed, and I always refer them... It was wonderful to experience their excellent service for myself today!

Riad And his partner were very professional and personable. They did an amazing job and cleaning our ducts. They explained every procedure that was done and we are able to see pictures of before and after. I would use this company again and will refer them to family and friends.

Kaltech is a company that lies about needed services on furnaces in order to upcharge for repairs and sell you on their finance charges. I was quoted at well over $1000 for a new control board, the control board is testing just fine. It was an outright lie. In addition to this, $140 just to come out is NOT applied to the repair like it is with most service folks. DO NOT HAVE THESE PEOPLE WORK ON YOUR FURNACE THEY WILL LIE TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. When confronted they told me no one reads reviews.

From new install of furnace and air conditioner to maintenance of each unit I have been very pleased with this company and all people and technicians. They always are very prompt I. Returning calls and setting up appointments/reminders and keeping me updated on when technician will be arriving. Definitely will recommend this company.

The owner & his associate arrived on a Saturday to discuss w/me installing a new AC Unit into my home. The owner advised me, he would forward to me an estimate on Monday. After a week of waiting & not receiving the estimate, I telephoned the office to inquire. The receptionist advised she had spoken to the owner & he would fwd me the estimate that night, or the following morning. Needless to say, the estimate never came & this company is nonresponsive in emailing back, or phoning back. I would not recommend them. Too bad they never got back with me. This would have been a huge payout for their company!

@Kaltec: There was no estimate ever sent - and it was not sent over the weekend. Nor was it received into my spam folder. It's very unprofessional to only respond, once as "review" has been done on your company. Like I mentioned, this would have been a HUGE payout for your company.

They responded quickly by phone and had someone ouy the next morning. It was Christmas Eve and temps were below freezing for two days, so they really got me out of a jam.

When the technician arrived I explained to him that the AC unit was short cycling and I had the exact same problem 3 years ago. I also explained to him that it was fixed by rebalancing the system. After he finished he explained to me that if I had any more issues to call him and let him know. Not ten minutes later the system started short cycling again so I called him. He told me it would cost over $1,000 to fix so I told him I would get a second opinion. 3 days later the second technician from another company rebalance the system and found that the first technician from Kaltec overcharged the system so it would continue to short cycle. I called Kaltec to complain and they only gave me a $50 refund for a $150 charge to not fix my AC. I feel like I was scammed by Kaltec.

Dakota came in and gave us thorough exam of our furnace. We found out our furnace was not up to code and should have been inspected when we purchased the house. I highly recommend this company.
