District manager came out quickly when our 22 year old A/C failed over the summer and we knew our 28 year old furnace was close as well. Inspected areas for venting, power, water feed, etc and provided several efficiency options to consider. No pressure sales. We chose and selected an install date. Team was on on time, very friendly and cleaned up after the install was complete. They explained the new system including annual filter/service needs as well. Great experience. Gladly refer and recommend.

As first time customers we are extremely satisfied with our Crain experience. You're always taking a gamble when you hire a company you've never used before, but this time it really paid off. Our AC circa 1989 gave out finally, so we gave Crain a call since we weren't too happy with our previous heating and cooling company. They were able to send someone out within two days to come diagnose the problem (other companies weren't able to come out for two WEEKS), and the gentleman they sent out, Kent, was awesome. Not only did he call and show up when he said he would; he was also personable, helpful, honest, and a pleasure to have in my home. Kent took the time to actually show me what was malfunctioning on the AC and explained how all the parts worked. Long story short- we required an entirely new HVAC system (heat and AC), and the best part was was that I didn't feel pressured, mansplained to, or confused about our options. Kent sat down with me, showed me our options on his phone, gave his honest suggestions, steered me away from unneccesary purchases, and seamlessly scheduled an install date two weeks out. Today was our install date, and once again, Crain didn't disappoint. The gentlemen who came today were once again on time, polite and courteous, wore booties in our house (thank you!), used their time wisely, and worked their tails off to get us up and running. We're super grateful not only to have a brand new system, but also for our experience. We have definitely found our "go to forever" heating and cooling company!

Working with Crain Heating and Cooling was a great experience. My furnace stopped working and I got a quote from a different company that seemed high. I had Crain provide me a quote for a new furnace and it significantly under the first quote. The sales rep provided me with two space heaters to run over the weekend to ensure my pipes did not freeze. Later that day the front office called to confirm the appointment to replace the furnace and the asked if I had a place to stay that was warm, I really appreciated their concern. When the crew came to install the furnace they were very professional and explained exactly what they would do. They even ran wire for my new thermostat. At the end of the appointment they cleaned up and the furnace space was cleaner after they left than before they started. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get a new furnace.

I have a unique situation at my home with my furnace. Because it was over 20 years old I decided to get three estimates for a new furnace and AC. Crain Heating and Cooling was the lowest estimate, provided the most informative estimate experience and had a "we can do it" attitude regarding my situation.

We decided to go with Crain and I do not regret it. We had our new system put in place on 4/10/17. Matt and Garrett were our install technicians. They were very friendly and courteous and very dedicated to their work. I am very pleased with the work they accomplished.

Crain was very communicative during the whole process and wanted to provide the best experience they could. I would highly recommend!

I picked Crain based on their high rating & number of reviews. Also that they were local in Livonia. I called on Monday & got an appointment for Tuesday am. For a furnace call in January, I was pleasantly surprised we got an appointment that quick! I was also impressed that the service call was only $79. Mike was friendly, professional, & knowledgeable! Will definitely use Crain again!

Outstanding across the board so far. They were able to fit me in for a same day appointment, diagnose the problem and gave me a couple of different options to solve our issue. Professional, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Unfortunately, as I had suspected, replacing our 20+ year old, badly damaged central air conditioner was the most practical fix. Fair price on a replacement (so much so that we went with an upgraded unit) and were able to schedule the install for two days from the service call. I have no doubt that Crain will be our go to HVAC company for maintenance and service from now on.

I always call Crain. They do a good job, and are extremely professional. The installed a new system for me, and I had a couple issues a day or two later. They sent out a tech within a couple of hours, and he resolved my issues right away. You definitely should call Crain
