Crain Heating and Cooling

We have been using Crain for years. They do a thorough job of inspecting the heating and cooling systems and recommending any maintenance needed - before a problem arises - keeping the equipment running well at its critical functions. The costs are reasonable and quality of workmanship is great. We use the multi year maintenance contract and it is great to have the services done and paid for in advance. They even read my mind and called to schedule the maintenance call early in the week I was planning to call!

Regular service call, but found big issues. Showed me everything he found and showed me what his camera saw.
Gave me several options and did not try to sell me on anything.
I have used Crain’s for 3 years now for regular maintenance and love the maintenance plan. Each technician has been fantastic.

Our furnace broke and the first company we hired had a five day wait to get the part. We then called Crain, they arrived, had the part and fixed it within hours of the call. Also their price was below the first company. We will be calling Crain for all our future HVAC needs.

We had to recently have a new water heater tank installed and I’m so THANKFUL for the rapid response by Crain Heating and Cooling! Joe and Cole were GREAT...knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I appreciated their patience in explaining the process and also that they cleaned up well of dust and debris after the installation. I use Crain Services also for annual maintenance on our HVAC system and I highly recommend their services for your heating and cooling needs. A big shout out to Joe and Cole for their efforts! Great experience from working out the estimate with Cody to the crew that did the complete heating system and cooling system replacement/upgrade. It included remove of the old units and completing the new installation in about 5 hrs. Very professional group from start to finish. Would highly recommend Crain Heating and Cooling.

Service is ok but overly expensive. I have been dealing with them for several years and they used to provide good service at a reasonable price. I am not sure what happened in the past two years that made them jack up their prices across the board. Quoted me 500+ to replace the AC blower fan. I called other businesses while their technician was at my home and I got quotes in the range of 200-250. I asked them to match other quotes but they declined. I had to go with them anyway because their technician was already there and I needed it fixed without delay. Ended up paying total $653. Why should I pay 2-3 times the price of other local heating/ cooling businesses for the same service?! I used to call them for service without shopping around or seeking other quotes because I had loyalty and trust for whatever value they provided. This is something that I cannot do anymore.

Consultant, Cody, listened to our needs, and recommended equipment that matched our needs exactly (including price). Cost was better than two other quotes. Installation techs, Joe and Matt, were great. They cleaned everything up and had old furnace and AC hauled away. They noticed that the new AC had been damaged in shipping, and had a new one delivered on site while they kept working on the furnace, so the installation was completed on time. I highly recommend Crain Heating & Cooling.

I had Crain out to inspect my furnace as I am currently in the process of attempting to sell my home. The employee (I believe their name was Jake or Jacob) called me prior to arriving to tell me they were on their way. Once he arrived he quickly got to work inspecting my furnace and actually noticed a duct had become disconnected and fixed it for me. Afterwards he completed the rest of his tasks in a timely fashion and explained everything he had done. Great service. Would absolutely use again.
