Crain did a great job and was very affordable compared to the competition. Also, they had great financing (if needed). The Lennox system appears to be working well and is much better than our 30yr old Trane!
The installation team even let me rip up some flooring in between the furnace swap, which was convenient.
Their maintenance technician, Bryan, is very friendly, educational, and knowledgeable.

I had 2 AC units and a furnace replaced on separate occasions and both teams did a great job. They ran new PVC pipe to the exterior and their patch job is the best that I've seen. They were also very knowledgeable and as an avid home improvement person myself, I was very happy with their work.

I chose this company due to a very positive interaction when I was looking for a furnace part last year. I did not regret my choice! All of their guys showed up on time for estimate and install. They sent 4 personnel out to start job at 9am. Due to rerouting of utilities to move AC and install the larger high efficiency furnace, 2 guys stayed until 9:30 PM to make sure my family had heat! Midway through job, project manager stopped to check quality of job. From first contact to job complete, everyone from office staff to installers were extremely courteous and professional! They did their best to answer all of my questions as the "nosey" homeowner. (I ask a lot!) The installed Lenox AC & 90% Efficiency Furnace are a great value for the price. After install the package includes follow up after year and great warranty on system.Interest free financing also offerered if needed. May bring them out to do a tankless water heater in future. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC repair or install!

From the Comfort Advisor Cody, to the office staff that kept us informed, to our installers Doug and Brent we had a wonderful experience. Cody was very informative and we did not feel pressured. The office staff Jillian & Dee were very pleasant and helped add to the confidence we have in Crain. Our installers Doug & Brent were the best and answered my questions. I've worked in both renovations and quality so I'm particular and I know a lot about house systems.

So, when our 80's furnace finally took it's last breath, we decided to replace the entire ancient HVAC system at once. Furnace, A/C, and humidifier.

We got 5 or 6 quotes, with Crain being one of them. I didn't tell any of the companies about my background.

When Jason Crain came out to quote us, it was like talking with a friend about the system: at no point did I feel like I was being 'sold'.

He talked us through the options with clear language, addressed our concerns respectfully, gave us realistic expectations of a system in a quad-style home, and helped us think through some upgrades that we were interested in. He also spoke to my husband AND me, unlike some of the other companies that ignored me and only spoke to my husband.

The price was comparable to some of our other quotes, but we went with Crain.

All the work was completed in one long day. The main worker and his helper were polite, respectful of my home, and cleaned up after themselves well. Then, I was walked through the functions and owner-maintenance of the system.

After they left, I took a close look at the work, and it had the small details that let me know they really cared about their work. So satisfying!

When the city inspector came to final the permit, he asked which company did the work. When I said it was Crain, he nodded and said that they do good work. Yep, I can see that, too.

It's been a few years since the system was installed and the follow up from Crain has been outstanding. The system functions just the way Jason explained to us. I'm so pleased.

In short, the experience was as smooth as I could ever imagine a large home project going.

Great experience. The two gentlemen that did the installation, Brian and Ian, were professional and courteous. We had heavy rain for most of the day and it had to have been uncomfortable for them going in and out with the equipment and tools. They cleaned up the work area immediately, left nothing for me to do afterward!

We purchased our HVAC unit last year. They sent a technitian out to do a check up to be sure everything was working well. The serviceman was polite, ontime, and professional. Well done!

Crain was awesome: came out next day, technician (Ted) texted in advance, was prompt, knowledgeable, and clearly explained what he saw, offered suggestions/ options, and completed our service quickly. Will definitely use them again!

Doug and Aubrey from Crain were just wonderful, they worked relentlessly to install my furnace and air conditioner. I highly recommend Crain, they provided honest, and high quality service. After 2 years of trying to make a 29 year old ac unit run, it finally stopped at the worst time, the middle of the first 90 degree week of summer in Michigan. Crain was able to come out to quote the replacement job within 2 days and provided me with quotes for both an AC and furnace. Cody was great and listened to what I wanted, he didn't try to upsell a high efficiency unit on me as I was interested in just replacing my very old equipment. Prices were the best I received for comparable units and he was able to schedule installation early the next week, due to the 4th of July holiday weekend. Cody even went out of his way to process my down payment check with out making me drive back to the Livonia office. Installation was good, the technicians were on time, removed the old units and installed the new ones in about 8 hours. I would recommend Crain again.
