Crain Heating and Cooling

I needed my old AC replaced and ended up going with Crain because they were able to come out quickly and their price was in line with the other quote I got. It was a little bit higher (only ~4%) but they were more clear about permitting, inspection, warranty, etc. and offered a 1 year out visit so I felt good that it would be worth it. They have a financing partner that was easy to work with and had a few options including a 0% financing option. On the day of, Matt and Brandon came out, were nice, and did a good and quick job. They both answered the questions I had about what they were doing and how the stuff works.

I'd definitely recommend Crain.

It was time for a furnace check up. Making an appointment was easy and they were able to accommodate my schedule. I cannot speak to their response time in an emergency situation, but if how they handled my maintenance call is any indication of their commitment to customer satisfaction, I'd expect a similar level of service.

Brent, the service technician, was on time and very courteous, and covered his shoes before entering the dwelling. He performed the maintenance on the furnace very professionally and quickly determined the humidifier was working but needed some minor adjustments to the humidistat.

There were no surprises on the billing and the service rate was very good. I would definitely call Crain Heating and Cooling again for any repair and maintenance on my system.

I bought my HVAC units from Crain 3years ago and reasently called to set up a time up for both units to be checked. The person sent was on time and did a good job of checking over all aspects of my furnace and AC. Very happy with Crain and would recommend them.

Called many companies in the area and Crain was by far and away the simplest and easiest to deal with. The whole process was seamless beginning with the quote until install day. Most companies wouldn’t even entertain giving a quote unless they come to your house, Crain had mine emailed to me within 15 mins! The techs performed a clean, thorough and professional job on the install! I recommend using Crain for any of your HVAC needs!

I needed a complete heating and cooling system replacement for my residence, including some extra features like quieter condenser, duct booster fan, custom thermostat for better air circulation, and larger filter. The Crain representative (Cody) knew the answer to all my questions and he was also very cordial. The installation crew (Ian, Matt & Ian) we’re very efficient and courteous.

Highly recommended. I called several companies. Most of them confuse you with pricing adding several numbers and then applying several discounts so you end up unable to compare item to item. With Crain, they gave me the price of the furnace, the price of the AC, and a discount if I do both together.
One sales person from a different company companies literally called the two stage Lennox furnace that Crain quoted me “garbage” and said that I needed the variable speed one. When I called Cody from Crain, he said he will give the variable speed unit for the same price. Amazing. The other company price was 3k more.

other companies also tried to upsell me.
One company was very pushy about getting a 16 or 18 SEAR AC because “I need it”. With Crain, I asked for a quote on it which they gave me. But they also educated me about the efficiency of this upgrade and provided data from the manufactures that helped me decide against this upgrade.

Installation was professional. One of the most friendly crews I have ever seen.

Oh, and they fixed the water heater ducts and faucet, and pulled a c wire for my nest thermostat, all for no additional charge. They applied for utility rebate and registered my unit for the warranty literally the next day.

Bottom line: friendly and professional staff with the most reasonable pricing and not pushy at all. I will definitely recommend them to anyone.

I had Cody come out and gave me a quote on a new furnace and A/C. The quote was the best price with the best equipment that I had received. I had quotes from 5 other companies. I would highly recommend anyone to add Crain when looking for heating and A/C work. Now I am just waiting for installation day.

I'm selling my house and I had no idea what I was doing and needed an inspection done. Melissa answered the phone and was SOOO friendly and helpful and explained everything perfect for me. Gave me a price up front. Got me in same day. The guy who came, I think his name is Brent. Was also super friendly, helpful and personable, absolutely loved him. Great experience 10/10 would use again and recommend.

Came recommended from a friend. Got appointment with 1-day notice; when the furnace started working again on its own before the appointment, they did not give me any difficulty about cancelling. When furnace stopped working again they came out the next day. Prompt to scheduled time. Technician was very professional and fixed the issue fairly quickly. Rather than try to charge for something big or try to convince me I needed my furnace needed to be replaced, they performed the inexpensive fix that was needed. 2 weeks later, still working great! Had a great experience with them installing a new AC system last summer, so when my furnace stopped working over the weekend I called Crain. Jacob was prompt, thorough, and courteous. He answered all my questions patiently and treated my special needs child who wanted to follow him around everyone with kindness and respect. Crain has very competitive pricing and amazing commitment to quality service as well. I will definitely use them again.
