Had 2 different technician come to house first time customer.
Plumbing issue broken connection but did complete house inspection of plumbing and tested water supply before even making repairs. Tech Eric very personable and knowledgeable. Inspections done and repairs made in quick succession.
HVAC maintenance done recommendation made by tech Tom also very personable and informative.
A company runs on their help and both these techs were excellent and I would ask for them again and would recommend the company to others

We just moved into a new home with an old heating system so I had Blue Bear come out to do a routine maintenance on the unit. Their technician Peter Kelly was excellent. Peter was super friendly but also showed me pictures and video of the services he was doing so I could better understand how it all works. Plus, there was an item that needed immediate replacing due to a safety issue, so I had Peter replace that part which was done swiftly. I am very pleased with Peter’s work and Blue Bear overall. I would recommend them to anyone and will also use them in the future.

I recently purchased a home in Easton, MA where the water quality is pretty terrible. I contacted Blue Bear to request a technician come out to test the water and recommend a water filtration system.

They were terrific during the scheduling process and asked questions to pinpoint my needs and accommodate my schedule.

I received a text notification that Mark Bolotte would be the technician assigned and provided a time-frame for his arrival. He arrived right on time and greeted me with a big smile.

Mark discussed the process and explained everything really well so that I'd understand what the readings meant and where the numbers should be. He also offered to check my plumbing throughout the home and made recommendations for repairs (some that I could do myself). He tested the pressure on the hot water heater and identified a problem not noted during my home inspection.

Mark was thorough, professional, patient and personable. He did not make me feel pressured to make any decisions or spend any unnecessary money. I appreciated his honesty and integrity.

I will certainly use Blue Bear in the future and recommend their services to others.

We had a great experience with Blue Bear. The main water line under our home was leaking due to age. Tim H. came out to assess the issue and it was determined that the line had to be replaced from the street. Tim provided a quote quickly and as soon as we accepted, the excavators and Scott V. from Blue Bear were on site the next morning to begin the work. Scott V. was amazing, and it was not an easy job working in the "crawl space". He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The work was completed and water was back on quickly. We even installed a filtration system at the same time!

Everyone we worked with, from the first phone call to the office to the final scheduling of the town inspection, could not have been more helpful. I would definitely use Blue Bear again in the future!

One Star. I called Blue Bear because I wanted a repair to my gas heating system. Our heating system is 9 years old. The system seemed to be constantly running and I could tell something was not right.

The company was reliable and timely with scheduling and arrival on the date promised. Good communication via text was used to prompt me as to the time in the 8 am -4 pm day the technician would arrive.

I wanted to know the reason my system was consantly running and get a repair made to remedy this. The first technician did assess that the condensate pump was the issue and once he unplugged the pump, the noise was eliminated. He told me it was an inexpensive fix. He also noticed some corrosion on the top of our pipes and mentioned corrosion is not good for a heating system and can affect the integrity of the entire system. He ended up taking photos of the system, sending it to another technician and admitted he did not have the expertise to address further. He did say he gave the condensate pump a little bump (with his foot I assume) and this was enough to stop it from constantly running.

Just a little while later, the next technician arrived and pretty much immediately began to talk about "options with our project." Long story short, he admitted he was not a technician (i.e he could not fix or make a repair), in other words, he was a salesperson. He pushed the idea that our heating system needs to be replaced whereas I was looking for a repair to the condensate pump. He did make a verbal quote to replace the pump at $1500 (obviously not as inexpensive as the first technician indicated) and kept insisting we would be throwing money away to make this repair. Instead he suggested an amount of $20K for a new system. I told him I did not want this; I wanted a repair. I sent him away and the charge for the service call was $125. (Your credit card information is taken at the time you schedule service.) No repair and I'm no further along in dealing with the condensate pump problem.

I called the office to voice my complaint and also to communicate the technician left my system's front cover off and on the basement floor. I wanted someone to return and at least put my heater back to the way it should be. I was assured someone would return, but this did not occur by the close of the business day. Out of curiosity, I checked the prices of a condensate pump at Home Depot. It can be bought for $80, so $1500 verbal quote was clearly exorbitant. While looking for a more simple repair, this person was adamant that an entire new system was the only fix. I was upfront about not wanting a new system at this time. I just wanted a problem addressed and repaired!! It should be my choice as to how I want to handle the information given to me, but the only choice this Blue Bear salesperson wanted to promote was for me to spend a great deal of money.

I called Blue Bear because I had a pipe in my basement heater that had been leaking for nearly a year and was completely rusted. So glad I called because Blue Bear was absolutely fantastic! They sent out a tech named Todd to inspect and sort out specifics about my issue and let me know what they were going to do, what they could do if I wanted more work taken care of, and how much it would cost so there weren't any surprises day of. A few days later they sent out Ben, Tim, and Kevin. They did a great job, were considerate that I was also working while they were working, and even saved me a couple bucks (like a couple hundred) since only one pipe needed to be changed and not 2 like they originally thought. They installed a better quality pipe than I had before and installed it properly, unlike the original installer. Honest company with very good people working for them. Would recommend and use again

The team installed a new furnace and performed tremendously. They ran into a few issues with the existing system which were not installed correctly. But they worked through them all and completed the job. It was a huge effort which they do with a smile. Hats off to Chris and the other team members.
