Tyler Torres came to our condo unit and diagnosed and repaired the combination ("split") HVAC system, making updates to the outside condenser. He was professional yet cheerful, a pleasure to work with. He was also an efficient worker. He made sure, with us, that the system was now working properly. We love that he documented the work performed photographically and shared the photos to my email.

The technicians, Joe Sr. and Joe Jr., did an excellent job of installing a mini-split system. They were professional and pleasant. A job advertised to be done in two days was accomplished in one day. The system is functional and runs quietly. We are very pleased with the installation.

Your plumber arrived timely. He was very knowledgeable and explained why he could not install my purchased Mr Heater 30,000 BTU Ventless Blue Flame heater because it is not approved in the State of Massachusetts. I appreciated his time and expertise. I will be returning the heater to the store for a refund. The store should not be selling a product that is not state approved. Disappointed in MA.😪

I was not going to leave a review since I feel like the company is better then this situation went but they kept texting and e-mailing for a review so here it is. I don't want to scare anyone away since I feel like this was isolated.

The people were nice but it did seem to be a bit of a comedy of errors. I booked the appointment on-line for a Monday morning, after sitting around for a few hours I called and was told they had double booked and could not make it. So they then reached out and could get someone there between 1 and 3. Instead of a half day off I had to call in for the entire day. Customer service said they called but I had no voicemail. Turns out they entered the wrong phone number.

Tech comes and tells me they stopped it from leaking and I needed this and that. Understandable except when I go downstairs a few hours later and the boiler is pouring out water. I ended up bailing water out of my basement for 5 days since they didn't have the parts to fix it.

Finally the installation went fine and solved the problem. The tech did a nice job and things seem to be perfect.

Except then I paid half up front on the Monday the tech came and then they billed me the full amount again on Friday after the job was done. They also charged me for the service call which the site says if you book the service that fee will be waived. Took another week to get the credit on the account.

The company seems like really good people and I chalk this up to just a rough ride. These things happen in life it was just unfortunate how things were not able to go more smoothly.

Very punctual, professional, and kind. We called in for emergency leak detection and repair on pretty short notice and Paul was able to come down and fix everything that very afternoon. I would absolutely recommend Landry to anyone; they clearly hire the best of the best. I'll definitely be calling again for any future work.

Two stars because the tech was great. However 541.00 for a half hours work to replace a washer valve is just way too much. Came after the time window I was quoted as well. Two other companies quoted me about 300 less. I only went with this one because they charge 99.00 just to look at it.

Mike performed the AC service and repaired the unit. He explained and showed me what was needed. I liked his no pressure approach and really liked his professionalism and valued past experiences. It was the hottest day of the year so far and Mike was here under two hours. I will definitely use Landry Mechanical agin in the future .

Update: An electrician came to fix my electrical issues and found that my water heater was installed illegally by Landry’s plumber. The work was not up to code. Landry sent out an electrician to fix the work. My experience with Landry overall has been very poor.
Landry was quick and responsive which I very much appreciate. I don’t like writing negative reviews, but feel it’s important to share my experience so others don’t end up in this situation. The quote was higher than expected and no financing options were provided upfront. In a desperate situation, I needed to get this work done regardless of the price (and due to the $99 quote fee). The electrical in the house is old and needing rewiring, so after installation, not only did the new water heater not work, but the heat in the home went out as well as a result. The plumber did not offer to help and packed up to leave me with no heat or hot water. It turns out the hot water tank was in fact not broken (though needed replacement within a year). The plumber made it clear he was annoyed when I asked for assistance with my broken furnace and no hot water, making me feel uncomfortable. I appreciate the Landry electrician coming the next day to get heat running so my pipes didn’t freeze, but I now have no electricity in over half of my home as a result of this for the next month. I will not be using Landry services going forward due to the high quote and discomfort felt as a result of the plumber.
