Mc Claren Heating & Air

I had been without heat for 3 weeks when I reached out to McClaren for an estimate to replace my dead furnace & Central AC. I received a call back soon after to schedule an estimate. Gary was there 2 days later and he was professional, friendly, and answered all my questions. He was able to get me scheduled for service the very next day as an emergency case. 2 technicians showed up first thing and took the time to explain the process and walk me through everything. Each and every member of the team that I interacted with was wonderful. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Called to have a motor replaced for my furnace and a cleanout. Quoted price was $500 and seemed reasonable. Installation didn't go very well with the tech cursing frequently. Honestly that doesn't bother me because all I care about is the work, but the work ended up being poor. Day after installation heard a grinding noise and the sound of the furnace stopping. Upon examination I saw that two of the attachment points for the motor had broken free. Neither used washers or nuts. One appeared to be using a sheet metal screw instead of a bolt. When I looked closer I also noticed that the tech used foil tape instead of a bolt for a third attachment point. I ended up removing the tape, replacing the bolts, adding washers and nuts, and reattatching myself. It's possible I just got unlucky with the tech or he was just having a bad day, but for $500 I wasn't expecting to have to do a repair the next day.

Can’t say enough good things about these guys. They are responsive & thoughtful, and they care about their clients. They are as busy as any skilled contractors are nowadays, but whereas some outfits make you feel like they don’t need your business, McClaren always lets you know you’re a valued client.

I called Mc Claren Heating & Air looking for a company to install ductless AC. They came when they said they would. The work was very neat and efficient. They were in and out in one day I couldn't have been more pleased. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Wow. Mike Casey was the 3rd tech, and thankfully the last, to take a look at the unit and knew exactly how to repair and did so quickly. I've used Mc Claren on my heating system in Marshfield, but I will only use them going forward on all. Sometimes it may seem simple to have the same Plumbing and HVAC co but that proved to be a bust since the other company does not have workers with the same expertise as Mc Claren. AC cruisin', communication was great and price was worth it. Thanks again!

Artie and his crew installed a full ducted system in our house and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Everyone on the crew was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. We have a 6 month old baby and a dog and they made sure to be courteous of both of them.

We had a pretty extensive install that required a number of technical cuts to be made, but the whole crew kept us up to date on everything before making any major decisions. Every day the crew made sure to clean up the job site so we could go about our busy nights and mornings as usual - you wouldn't have even known they were there.

Artie was also incredibly helpful in walking us through the Mass-saves program, from the initial application all the way through getting our rebates. It was a painless experience due to his knowledge and professionalism.

Artie and his crew did an amazing job in my home! After a few years of knowing I would need to replace my boiler, Artie came in and let me know about a less expensive way to replace my heating system and add AC. His crew installed a heat pump condenser with inverter technology. I’m really looking forward to a cooler summer and not having to be tied to oil in the winter.
