Alex Valley was contracted to complete an HVAC system installation and verify proper operation. He came and performed the contracted work, informed me that he tested everything and it was working properly. Since he completed the work when it was warm I did not have the system running. When it got cold enough to run the system I turned it on and in a short time got a lockout code. I called him to come by and take a look which he agreed to do the next day. The next day came and went without him coming by. He then stopped responding to calls and texts. My electrician came by and informed me that he had the dampers were connected to the opposite thermostats, he never connected the control unit to the furnace and he did not convert the furnace from gas to propane which was causing too big a flame in the furnace which was why it kept shutting down. Not only did he create a major fire hazard by not converting the unit but he took the conversion kit when he left making it necessary for my to buy another one. Conclusion: He doesn't know what he is doing and he does not stand behind his work. Do not have him touch your system.
