Mc Claren Heating & Air

I had an open complaint on the BBB regarding damage to my home from a McClaren Technician. Artie responded to the complaint that he is "a man of his word and would make good on getting the damages fixed". He stated, "his insurance would cover something that his Technician caused, and that is why they have insurance."

Since that complaint in the late fall of 2022, I have consistently called the office once a week, every week for EIGHT weeks straight and ask to speak with Artie to get the repairs done. Each time I have been told he is out on a call and she will leave the message on his desk. I have never received a call back, nor an email or a text.

Sorry, but he is not a "man of his word" as here I am still waiting for over 2 years now due to the pandemic, to have a hole in the ceiling repaired, an entryway ceiling and bathroom floor replaced all from water damage caused by his Technician. NOT good business practices at all for someone who was a regular annual customer for years.

This business, along with Misty and Jeff McClaren, are always professional and efficient! They have integrity, which is difficult to find these days! I 100% trust their advice and work!

From start to finish great job! Would highly recommend. All the techs were friendly and completed their job in a timely manner.

he team at McLaren Heating and AC did an outstanding job replacing both my heating and AC units at my home. They were timely, professional and cleaned up after each day of work.

Our experience with McClaren Heating & Air Conditioning was excellent! I called them looking for information about buying and installing a whole-house air conditioning system. (Our heating system is forced hot water so I was concerned about how complicated and expensive it would be to install central air conditioning.)

I left my contact information with their answering service. Within a day or two, Gary George, a salesman, called back and setup a time to look at our house. Gary was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, answered all of our questions and provided us with a written estimate for a 5 Ton Trane air conditioning system. The price was very competitive with quotes from other vendors. Once we signed the proposal, Artie McClaren, the owner, came out to our house to size and finalize the design of the system. During the design visit Artie explained what they would be doing and got our approval for the location of the supply and return vents.

Their crews arrived when promised and finished pretty much on time. The team lead, Paul RIley, was friendly, professional, and willing to answer all of our questions. The workers all did a good job minimizing the mess that they made and cleaned up after themselves nicely.

Overall, I was impressed by the professionalism and knowledge displayed by the McClaren team.

Update (7/22/21):
After a couple of hot spells the system is working great. Initially, one room was hot and a couple were too cool. They immediately sent out a technician to "balance" the system which meant lowering the air flow to the cool rooms and increasing the airflow to the hot room. Very happy with my new AC system.

Colin arrived on time as planned. He was friendly and informative in answering my questions. Also cleaned up after the work was done in a timely manner.

a year ago they installed my bran new heat pump after we just got 3 feet of snow they wear very professional at the work they did .the install in just one day it went late into the evening but i could not be happier with the service they walk me through the process of mass heat loan and i am saving so much money on my oil bill the unit installed is very quiet and energy efficient the unit works great in very cold temps Arthur and his team are the best at what they do

Installed a basic Trane whole house A/C unit to replace our 23-year-old system that had a leak. Great professional service from Gary, Arthur and the installation crew , took care to explain everything and most reasonable of all the quotations that we got . They listened , determined our needs , didn’t try to up-sell us. We just needed a basic , good quality unit for when we do turn on the A/C during the summer (only when we really need it ), and they delivered . Nice, friendly crew that cleaned up afterwards and took care to check everything , plus had a good outside electrician come in to all the wiring and check the load. Recommended !!
