If you are looking for great customer service, Alliance Express is hands-down, the BEST! Darlene and the entire customer service team are always a pleasure to work with. Their service technicians are highly skilled, dependable, and have done a terrific job of keeping our heating system running smooth year in and year out. The commitment to excellence at every level has kept us loyal and satisfied customers for over 35 years. It is comforting to know that there are still companies like Alliance Express that truly care about providing their customers with top notch service.

The reason for such rating is do to the unforeseen price increase in my oil delivery. I have to pay 5.899 per gallon for 128.1 which was delivered today. I own a two family and paid 3.99 a gallon Saturday from cash on delivery company for my other tank. As a loyal customer, never late on payments etc.I was quite surprised and disappointed from alliance in price gouging over a $1.90 per gallon and asked about this amount and how and why they think this is justified since the market has adjusted. I did receive from customer service their reason and what they now could offer in a contract. A fee of $245.00 would be added for a lock in price of 600 gallons at 4.049 for one year and this being February isn’t all that egregious. However I can’t get over a fee of 245.00 for a price lock in and still deciding if it’s good for me or just pay cash on delivery until the market is more reasonable this summer etc. I must admit I very much would like to stay a loyal customer but tuff to accept any fee when they are still making money for a locked in price. The customer service was very helpful in there offers to retain my business but can’t decide if I should stay with them. Again oil is oil from any company and excessive increase is alarming and gouging loyal customers isn’t good business for us and the savings only goes to new customers which that service comes from loyal repeat customers. What do I do now remains undecided.

We have used Alliance Express for many, many years (over 40 I believe) and have ALWAYS found them to be helpful, reliable and responsive. Whenever I call, I get a REAL person on the phone who can make an appointment for service for me or who can quickly answer any question I might have. The people who deliver our oil are also excellent - always friendly & efficient. Today I called and talked to Darlene because I had a couple of billing questions. She was great - answered my questions easily and efficiently and honestly was just so nice to talk to! A big thank you to her!

I have been a customer of Alliance for several years and have had no complaints up until now. I gave them two stars simply because the Customer Service team has always been nice and very professional. Additionally, they have always been responsive for service calls or any issues with the furnace. The loss of stars come from the inaccurate and quite displeasing billing process. I have asked now three times for an itemized bill of which I have yet to receive. The first bill just had a total on it. When I called and asked for a new one I got the same bill with just the words 'fuel pump' on it. How is this good business? I don't know of anyone that would just blindly pay a large bill without having known how the company got to that total. There is a lot I can deal with but now I feel like there are shady billing processes and will be leaving this company and the end of this year's contract. It's a shame too because I would have stayed. Improve your billing processes.

Today’s service amplified why we have had a long business relationship with Hop Energy. People like Crystal and Darlene are so good at customer service. Their excellent phone skills and knowledge of the product and services are why we chose the company to remove the old oil tanks and replace them with a new one this morning. Leo Levesque’s promptness and competence in assessing dimensions of our basement added to our confidence.
Jason, Ben and Rolando did the removal and installation today. They are hard working and technically savvy — we felt lucky to have them. Chris came shortly after the installation, inspected the tank, and delivered oil! He was so gracious and friendly in his interactions with us. Lastly, our regular service technician,Tony (out on medical leave and missed by us) was the one who suggested months ago the work should be done. We couldn’t have asked for a better team. Hop Energy is more than fortunate to have all of them in their employ.
