    W have used SMO for propane and heating oil for years. In 2019 they were bought by Griffith Oil. I oct 2022 they transed from their old website to a new one. They still call themselves SMO. but they are Griffith oil. The website does not work, and they don't answer the phone. The email they sent with access info to the new website stated with a fill up of either fuel. I automatically accept the new contract and terms of service. I have not yet been able to see the new contract or terms of service. The SMO price is the highest in my service area.Shop eliseware!

    I called SMO to schedule yearly furnace maintenance. The customer service representative, Malissa, set up the appointment for me. She was efficient, courteous, and knowledgeable of all SMO services. Thank you, Malissa!

    My husband and I are very pleased with the install service we received from SMO. Andrew, Alejandre, TJ, and John spent the full day replacing and installing two new systems (a furnace/AC system and an attic heat pump). The four were very hard working, professional, and conscientious about keeping our home clean and picking up after their work. They answered all our questions and informed us of what to expect when we first the heat. Thank you.

    I've been dealing with SMO Energy for several years now. I might grumble a little at times over the price of heating oil or propane but generally that is out of SMO's control and I have found that SMO has always, always, always done better on their pricing when compared to competitors that I used to deal with (who were way more on the gouging side).

    I called today and spoke with Malissa Jameson who very pleasantly assisted in getting my concerns resolved quickly and easily. I was calling in to schedule a propane tank refill after having had preventative maintenance done on my HVAC equipment and gas fireplace. The technician that came out this a.m. and got the tune-up/maintenance done was nice and professional and got things done quickly and efficiently. He got the gas fireplace pilot reignited after cleaning up the firelogs a little bit and left things ready for the winter ahead -- a winter where I'll again be able to use the fireplace after having had the propane tank serviced and eventually refilled.

    On October 11th, after trying for 4 days to contact anyone at SMO, about the water heater malfunctioning I managed to get a real live person on the telephone. I explained the situation about the Water Heater (I’ve given up on the AC/Heat) and was told that they would get a technician to come out and take care of it on the 25th of October. If you listen to the recorded conversation, that they do for "training purposes", you will note that the representative told me the next time it stopped functioning to just leave it off. That would mean over 13 days without any hot water to bath, do dishes, etc. When I explained that was not reasonable, I was told that is the best your company could offer. Having no other choice, I told her to send the tech out on the 25th. If possible I'd leave a Zero rating.

    I normally receive my propane from SMO. But this morning Malissa called to inform me that SMO offers others services from your heating to air conditioning, water heater etc . She was very professional, and knowledgeable of the services and was nice enough to send me the info. So that me and my husband could go over it to see if we maybe interested in any of these services SMO offers. Thank you Malissa

    I needed to have my ac system replaced replaced and chose SMO to do the work. The 2 men that were sent to do the job I had never met until today. They both were polite , professional and treated our home like they were working on their own homes. If I know anyone that needs to have this type of work done I will have them call SMO and ask to have Aaron and Jeremie do the work. They should be recognized for the great way they do their jobs.     Called SMO to confirm my propane fireplace service.
    Malissa answered the call, confirmed my identity and politely and professionally responded to all of my inquires. SMO is well served by Malissa. It is so nice to speak with a live and friendly person as opposed to being routed to a call center and pressing buttons.
