I had an issue with a PTAC unit that other companies did not want to work on. John Waters was able to address the issue after a couple of visits and a small hiccup.

Their staff is professional, courteous, and most importantly, knowledgeable. Despite initially being charged twice for a diagnosis, they promptly recognized what happened and refunded the initial visit. Great customer service and easy to work with - I would recommend John Waters HVAC to anyone who needs prompt resolution to their HVAC problems.

This company has the most qualified technicians. Our recent issue was due to something I would never have thought about and the technician took the time to explain how to prevent it in the future by keeping the cold air returns unobstructed. I used to have them do the 2X per year maintenance and had accidentally dropped it. I never will again. They catch things and are fair on pricing and VERY quick to respond when there is a problem!

Came same day I called. Arrived on time. The technician seemed to fix the issue with our HVAC. Next day, problem still was there. Called the office and the technician was back within 2 hours of that call and fixed the issue with no extra charges. Seems to be fixed now. Hired John Waters to install 4 dimmable recessed light fixtures in our top floor nursery. All in all, the can lights look good installed, but we had a few issues. First, they forgot the light switch the day they installed, so we had to schedule another day with them to come out and install the light switch. When they finally installed the switch it was backwards (flipping the switch down was on and up was off). They also had drilled a rogue hole in our nursery ceiling and didn't plan on patching/fixing it. Had to ask them to patch the hole. Lastly, when I went up into the attic I realized they had removed insulation to install the can lights and did not put the insulation back or attempt to re-insulate around the fixtures/wiring (see photos). So we're losing AC to our attic due to these insulation leaks. Just seems to be slightly amateur work with little attention to detail for an electrician company. Probably would not hire them again even though the end result looked good.
