Top Notch Heating, Cooling & Plumbing

We are satisfied customers of Top Notch. Many years ago, we first called them for emergency service. They were prompt, helpful, and did not overcharge. Accordingly, we scheduled them for regular service. We were so happy with the service that, when it came time to replace our furnace and AC, we purchased new models from Top Notch. which have worked fine, and have continued with their service.

Every Top Notch service person that comes is capable and courteous, respectful to the customer, and a pleasure to deal with. For example, they always put plastic covers on their shoes before walking into the house. They do not try to upsell us with services or products that we do not need. If I need a new part, like an air filter, they will tell me how soon I really need it and how much I might save buying it elsewhere, which may or may not be worth the savings.

All in all, we have found Top Notch to be reliable and trustworthy. As a result, we never worry about our heating and air conditioning.

Eddie Garcia serviced our AC this noon. He did a good job and was very efficient. Tom and other technicians have been great too. We have a twice a year service contract. We have had this for a number of years. Very happy to recommend Top Notch.

False Advertising: My wife called about a humidifier install based on the special they were advertising. They said that our house was 'too far away' despite their service areas listing "Kansas City". We live in midtown so it doesn't get more Kansas City than that. After asking to speak to a manager, the 'manager' (doubtful) didn't hear a thing we said and was simply obstinate.

My experience with Top Notch was excellent from start to finish. We were on the hook for a Family Easter Dinner at our house and they were able to install a new AC and Heater unit within 48 hours of my desperation call. We appreciate the professionalism and the communication we were given throughout the process.

Have been a routine system check customer of Top Notch for 35+ years. Always very responsive. Very knowledgeable technicians. In fact several have a tenure to have been to my house for routine service as repeat techs. That is valuable. Most recently needed service on the AC compressor in Oct during the warm weather. Called and they were able to come the same day. The tech arrived and had actually installed the AC 8 yrs ago. A quick reset of the system with an explanation as to how I might do it myself if it happens again. The problem was actually caused by homeowner error. The tech was very pleasant and knew immediately knew what to do. The service charge was very reasonable. And I was able to use a coupon which had been acquired years ago and had no expiration. Very, very pleased.

Eddie came for my annual AC check. As for past visits, he was on time, professional, and efficient. I am a long time customer of Top Notch. I purchased my AC/Furnace system from Top Notch and have had a maintenance contract all along. Eddie has added the personal touch to all of the above and given me continued confidence in the services of Top Notch. I highly recommend them and Eddie as well.

We have used Top Notch for close to 20 years. Their technicians are just that - 'Top Notch' - and you won't find better service. The most courteous, efficient, staff office to field. Do yourself a favor and start using them for all your HVAC needs.

Furnace went out on a frigid day, we called the emergency line early on a Saturday morning. When I described the issue, the emergency tech walked me through cleaning my flame sensor, and he didn't even have to come out! He helped me at no charge and saved us the emergency service fee. I appreciate the honesty and will definitely call Top Notch next time we need HVAC service.

Top Notch has taken care of my AC needs more than once. Always very quick to respond. Always.
