There was a time when you could look someone in the eye, shake hands and it meant something, and it remains true today. I highly recommend Residential Heating and Cooling as an outstanding locally owned and operated Schaumburg business which has achieved its 5 star reputation for good reason. Eric the owner, clearly explained what different options were available when we needed a new heating and cooling system. The installers, Matt and Alex were great and exceeded all expectations. It is always a pleasure doing business with people you trust and respect, and that is the most accurate way to describe our experience with Residential!!

I woke up worried because my newer furnace was not working. Residential Heating and Cooling was able to come the same day and fix the problem quickly. They are a life saver!

I pick RH&C last winter as my primary HVAC service based on ratings and they did good job on furnace during extreme cold days but today I had a problem with basic AC fix for capacitor which takes 15 min to replace and I got so disapointed coz simple brand new capacitor is average around $10-$14 bucks but they charged $184.00 for it!!! I would understand 100% profit but $184.00+service call $98.00 is way over 100% profit!!! The tec's are good ppl. but they have nothing to do with running this company and thats why I see this as a rip off!!!

Very prompt service. The owner returned my call within 15 minutes and was very appreciative of my call to them! Serviceman was very intent on finding the source of water leakage under furnace. He was successful. I will be recommending them.

Everything went smoothly from Kendall in the office scheduling me and Ben the technician fixing my AC. I was riding low on freon and Ben added some additional freon and spent extra time to fix it. Everyone was very polite and respectful which is sometimes rare in the service industry. I recommend this company without hesitation. USE THEM !!!

EDIT: JAN 18, 2022- Called with a question regarding an amber light code. I called after 6pm and to my surprise I got someone on the line (I believe he was the owner). He was patient and listened to my concern. He assured me there likely shouldn't be any problem and saved me a service call. This is what a stand up company is all about. No wonder they have perfect ratings. I've used them for my first cleaning last year and look forward to continuing a long relationship with this company. 5 stars EXCELLENT SERVICE !!!

Residential Heating & Cooling helped us with a competitive quote after receiving an excessively high price on a furnace from another local company. Kendall assisted us after-hours to reach an agreement on a new furnace and we were able to have it installed the next day. Very satisfied with our experience and would definitely use Residential again.

My furnace stopped working on a Sunday night. Within an hour, Ben was there working on a diagnosis. Eric and Kendall were very helpful over the phone, going over all the options for furnace replacements and financing choices. I definitely recommend this company!

We had a new A/C unit installed. We interviewed three companies and Eric stood out as extremely professional, informative and did a great job explaining the details of our unique job. Kendall was amazing following up with us and the contract needed from our landlord. Always professional and great at communicating with us. Matt and Mike were awesome installers and did a great job. Very conscientious during this time of COVID 19 and I think my floor was left cleaner than when they arrived! Great to work with and patient in answering any questions we had along the way. We highly recommend them.

I used Residential Heating & Cooling to remove an older natural gas ceiling-mounted garage heater and replace it with a new unit. The replacement unit they suggested was better suited for my size garage, and the installation was done very professionally and I could not be happier. Kendall called me the day of installation, and she kept me apprised of any changes in timing, so I could better plan my day. The techs, Mike and Alex, handled the installation promptly and cleaned up after. Mike also made sure everything worked as it should prior to leaving and answered all of my questions, and I was very satisfied with the whole process. Now I am looking forward to having a nice warm garage as we head into colder temps. Thanks to Residential Heating & Cooling!

John arrived on time checkout the air conditioner and knew immediately was was wrong. Thankfully he was able to access the condo roof and check out the air conditioner. With in minutes the cool air was blowing. Highly recommend this company. John is very knowledgeable and professional.
