The owner went out of his way to accommodate our needs even meeting with us on a Sunday afternoon to answer all of our questions. He and his workers really go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone needing service on their air conditioner. Very well done!

10-17-22: Jon cleaned my furnace and humidifier today, and replaced the ignitor. He explains issues in ways I understand (today the workings of the ignitor and flame sensor and costs of replacement), and does a thorough job of cleaning and assessing the HVAC system each time he comes. I greatly appreciate his expertise plus thoroughness of his work. Thank you Jon. And as always, Kendall, Office Manager, is as I’ve described below-Wonderful!
(Prior review): Kendall who is the Office Manager is ALWAYS so professional! When answering the phone she consistently and slowly lets me know who she is and who she is working for. Can't tell you how important it is that those calling can understand what she is saying. Plus she has an abundance of knowledge about heating and cooling so I trust what she says. Also important to note that when she doesn't have the answer, she'll find out and call back in a timely manner. She is the first impression of this business and she is wonderful. Also want to compliment Ben who performs twice a year cleaning and maintenance of my heating and cooling systems as well as the humidifier. Texts to let me know approximate time of arrival, consistently wears a mask and the booties so dirt isn't tracked into the house, communicates service results in a way that I can understand, and is most knowledgeable about the products he is servicing. He is an excellent representative of an excellent company.

My third time using Residential Heating & Cooling. Eric and the team are always great to work with. Always very responsive and perform great work. Would recommend them to anyone.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND- If you’re one to base your decision from reading reviews, this is the company to choose for all your heating and cooling needs. My AC was not shutting off when it reached the set temp, so I googled AC repair in Schaumburg and chose this company after reading the reviews. As many others have already stated, Eric (the owner) is personable, genuine, knowledgeable, professional, efficient and most importantly, will exceed any customer service expectation you have. I called one day and he was there himself, the next. In addition, he is able to communicate with you in terms you can understand and offers options versus applying pressure to make a decision right then and there. Eric is dedicated to treating every customer as if they are his only customer.

I am so glad I called Residential Heating & Cooling for our HVAC needs! Kendall was super friendly and helpful from start to finish. She answered all of my questions and concerns. She was also able to get a tech to come out the same day. Ben called shortly after our appointment was scheduled to let me know his ETA and called again once he was actually in route. Service was great and he even gave us tips on maintenance and upkeep. I plan on using Residential Heating and Cooling for all of our future needs and you should too! 10/10 recommend.

Eric and his team were exceptional! I called on Monday morning and Eric came out that day. He thoroughly explained my options for a new furnace based on our needs for the house. His team promptly arrived on Friday and did a great job with the installation. We are very happy with our new Bryant furnace. I would definitely recommend Residential Heating and Cooling to others! Honest, thorough and reliable!

Our furnace went out on us a few months ago in a late cold spell. We were very lucky to find Eric and company. Great people, genuine advice. They came out with heaters in the interim and were quick to replace. We were so pleased that we had them do the AC as well. From Kendall in the office to Eric, Matt and Mike on the field team, the experience was great. Highly recommend!!

What a fantastic experience. On Christmas Eve 2020 my heat was not working. Kendall asked me if she could bring me a space heater, until Matt could show up. Talk about above and beyond customer service. Thank you Kendall. They were going to come out and fix it that day. I decided to wait until after Christmas with family coming and it wasn't that cold out. I called them after Christmas, and Kendall was able to get me in that day as well. Matt came out and was very professional and very pleasant and was in and out quickly and I had heat again. After about 2 hours, the thermostat still would not go above 68 degrees. Kendall said she would have Matt come back out. Matt came out and replaced the thermostat the same day. Then a week ago, my thermostat was dropping again. Kendall set sent Alex out the same day. Kendall said she had to check with Eric on a few things and would call me back. We found out that it was being hooked up to our humidifier that hasn't worked in 30 years. Alex bypassed it. Alex was very professional and very pleasant. They believe in give the best quality of service. If you have not used Residential Heating and Cooling you should Thanks for everything, Kendall, Matt, Alex and Eric. Fantastic company and experience. Well done.

Very good value for replacement of A/C and furnace compared to other companies. Office Manager, Regan, very thorough in making arrangements to meet requirements of my condo association. Installers very professional and they didnt leave a mess after install. I would recommend to my friends.

Our air conditioner stopped working on Sunday night over this past Memorial Day weekend. We read a lot of reviews for different companies, but Residential Heating & Cooling had so many positive reviews we thought we would take a chance on them. They returned our call quickly and Jason was at our house the next day! He was extremely knowledgeable and personable! It was a lot of work to get our old machine working, especially in the blazing heat, but he got it running (and he never complained)! We thought their rates were very fare and their memberships make it an even better value. Everyone we dealt with at this company was excellent and caring. Hard work and personality make this our new heating & air conditioning service!!! Thank you Jason!!
