American Star replaced our furnace, air conditioner, thermostat & humidifier. Compete job was wonderful. The technicians, Adam, Joe & Chris were great. They were polite, informed us of how they would install everything, and cleaned up when done. You would never know they were here! Best experience ever - we would recommend American Star to everyone!

My wife and I have used American Star most of this decade. First at our townhouse in Bloomingdale. They kept our aging heating and ac system going..........and then when it was time to replace the Furnace and AC we met with the owner who was very responsive to our needs and budget.
Whenever I deal with the office, they are courteous and return calls promptly. We recently bought a new home in Winfield, and American Star set up an appointment with Adam Carlson. This is my first time in a home with radiant heat- a boiler. Adam came and tuned up our ac which is pretty new, but then he went over the whole boiler system with me- explaining what I need to know to live with this system. We love American Star's maintenance program. Twice a year they come and clean and inspect the system. I have probably had 15 service calls and a full install with American Star and NOT ONCE have I had a problem or a complaint. I can't say enough good things about American Star. Adam Carlson was rock solid and I am confident in his abilities to keep our HVAC system running smoothly. David and Edith in Winfield.

I found the service man to be very professional. He took great care to wear booties on his feet when in the house. He explained to me what he was doing. He showed me what needed to be replaced. He told me the total cost of the repairs and when it could be completed.
He answered all my questions and explained all my options.
I really appreciate the professional job he did at my house !
I would recommend this company to anybody who needs a trusted heating and cooling company to service there home !

American Star Total Home Comfort was professional from my very first phone call until my new air conditioning unit was installed and working. Carol was always very helpful anytime I called with questions. When Pat came out to give me an estimate, he was super informative and took the time to talk with me over every option available. I appreciated his honest opinion too. When Joe and the other gentleman came out to install my new AC unit, they were very friendly, professional, and on time. They explained my new thermostat and answered other questions regarding my new unit and some other issues I had with the duct work. They even pointed out a bees nest in our ground outside so that we could be cautious since we have little kids. Super kind of them! They even offer financing with decent interest rates. And there were no surprises when they left me my invoice. I knew the cost upfront and it did not change mid-service. They did an excellent job and I am very pleased with the service and the product. I would highly recommend this company to everyone!

American Star has a great employee in Jon G. He has come out to my home a couple of times now and each time he has provided high quality service, is responsive to my questions and is punctual; basically all that you can ask for in a true professional. He is officially my "furnace guy." I highly recommend him. Keep it up and thanks Jon!

I feel confident through Adam’s experience and genuine want to help people that he did the job right and fair. When asked about my opportunities for prevention and maintenance, he provided additional tips/tricks for efficiency of my unit that were simple and easy to do.
