Rob ( and Al) just left after getting my furnace ready for the winter. In my first year with a new furnace, I had a lot of trouble. Rob worked until he found the problem, fixed it, and is the only tech I ask for each Spring and Fall. Everything is explained in detail. It's nice to have a good rapport with the person who comes into your home to make sure everything is in order.
We've been a Chicagoland customer for many years, in the old house and now in a condo.

Eddie was great, always professional. Chicagoland was able to accommodate us same day, for two separate a/c issues. Allowed us to temporarily use the a/c before a permanent fix was done the next day. As always, the great service we have come to expect from Chicagoland Heating & Air Conditioning.

Had no heat the coldest day of the year. Furnace stopped working two days ago. Jerry, from Chicagoland Heating, was here this morning and fixed everything. I usually call them every year to clean the furnace, but missed last year due to illness. Heat is now working great, thanks to Jerry. They are very professional and rates are reasonable. During routine maintenance of my boiler the technician suggested replacement of the reduction valve and gave a written estimate : $389.00 plus $80.00 per hour labor. The part price seemed high and I subsequently discovered the RETAIL price to be $54.95
from an authorized dealer . I understand markup, but this smacked of price gouging. I called the company and was told by the owner, in a very rude manner, that the price was correct and that I do not know about the cost of running a business, health insurance, and people answering the office phone. He asked me who had installed the boiler (15 years ago) and said "Why don't you call them then". Nice, right?
