Our AC completely went out during the hottest point of this summer and had to be replaced. We engaged multiple HVAC companies who ended up turning down our business (one company even returned our down payment deposit check after making us wait for a month to start the job) because the job was "too tough." After contacting Chicagoland, Skip, the company owner, was at our house the very next day and gladly accepted the job. Skip understood that the oppressive heat was unbearable for our six month old daughter. Chicagoland was able to start within days and successfully completed the job that was deemed to be "too tough." Skip's crew, lead by Joe, was extremely respectful of our home and even our baby's napping schedule. I will only be using Chicagoland for our HVAC needs going forward. No job is too tough for this shop!

We have used Chicagoland for installation of our humidifiers and servicing our furnaces. We just had Rob out for a inspection and he was fantastic. He was prompt, polite, and was very thorough. We will be using Chicagoland in the future.

Mike came out for annual boiler maintenance for the first time since we moved into this house. He checked, cleaned, and lubed everything thoroughly. He was also able to give me some good information on our system and what to keep my eye on. I've never had a radiant system, so I'm still figuring things out, and I'm glad Mike was able to give me a couple pointers. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks Mike!

I’ve used a few different HVAC companies for annual summer and fall maintenance on my 14 year old Rheem furnace and air conditioner. Chicagoland has done the finest job of diagnosing and repairing any issues, and keeping my HVAC in good working order. I trust their service and find their fees reasonable. All of the servicemen have been professional and knowledgeable; especially Gerry. I feel comfortable and grateful to have Chicagoland to rely on for all of my HVAC needs.

Great overall experience. Mike the tech was professional, courteous and honest. I was expecting significant work and he quickly diagnosed a loose wire and fixed the problem in minutes. Will definitely be using them again.

Tech, Alex, was the same guy who came out a few years ago. Got here on time, called before he got here. Was incredibly polite, got the job done quickly and efficiently. Found out our AC was low and topped it off no problem. I recommend!

BIG THANKS to Skip and the guys, Nate and Steve. From start to finish.. job well done!! I so appreciate your professionalism and the hard work you both put in to see the job thru! Loving the results... enjoying the new comforts of home!! Will highly recommend this company to friends and family, on time, hard working, efficient and they cleaned up so well you wouldn't know they were here except the cool breeze flowing from the vents!! Just in time for the HEATWAVE!! PHEWWWW!!

My last two service calls were both outstanding; each technician was thorough in troubleshooting and each did extremely well to diagnose root cause and repair to best possible level of quality. Great job, Chicagoland!!!

Set up an appointment last Thursday to have someone come out and replace our heating duct return joints, and the earliest they had available was Monday morning at 9am. A-OK, let's do this!
Nobody shows up at 9am on Monday morning. No phone call, no email. I double-check with my husband on the appointment time and he verifies 9am. 9:15... 9:30... at 9:45, I finally call the company. The person I spoke with was polite when she took my call; it took her a few minutes to track the engineer down and tell me that he was running behind and would be at our house at 11. Two hours wasted.
11:05am, still no one. I call again, and I'm told that the dude is on his way. Five or ten minutes later, he shows up completely empty handed. I showed him the way to the attic crawlspace access (covered with a panel that screws into the wall), and he asks me how to get into it, then if I have a screwdriver. I get him a screwdriver, then he asks for a flashlight. I got fed up by that point and turned the job of answering questions and fetching things over to my husband. After the access panel has been removed, the person sent to replace the heating duct joints looks inside and says, "I'm not crawling around in there," and makes my husband look for where the joints are located. I pull up the home inspection report to help pinpoint the spots they'll need to get into, and he tells me he has to go get his glasses from the truck.
After all of this (it's a little after noon at this point), he tells us it'll be $250 and the earliest it can be done is Thursday or Friday of this week. We tell him that we'll talk it over and call the office, and he goes on his way. Four hours of our time totally wasted.
I did not offer him a glass of water before he left.
