We have been using Herchenbach Mechanical for several years. They have maintained and repaired both our furnace and our air conditioning unit. Each time we have contacted them, they have been VERY responsive, kind, courteous and professional. They are a locally owned business, which I love to support!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Cannot recommend a more responsive and professional HVAC shop. Had heating issues when we woke up and 3 hours later all issues resolved. Technician was polite and thorough during his visit.

Having moved from Chicago to Gurnee I had no idea who to call for my heating and air conditioning needs. My inducer motor was sounding like a loud table saw for about a week. Not good. Called Herchenbach Mechanical based on their good reviews. Boy am I glad I did! Mike and Curtis were friendly and professional. Changed my inducer motor out and now my furnace is nice and quiet. Excellent service. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent service from Herchenbach Mechanical to service our furnace. The technician arrived on time, was knowledgeable and very thorough. After politely asking if he could seat on the sofa, he wrote a very detailed invoice including advice to better maintain our furnace. He even gave us some good suggestions to protect our ac unit against the snow. Fee was in line with industry standard. We highly recommend Herchenbach Mechanical.

I have dealt with Herchenbach Mechanical for my furnace and a/c needs for over 16 years. They are extremely thorough in servicing my furnace and a/c. Always punctual and polite, no matter which specialist shows up for the appointment. I also have the highest regards for the office personnel who are pleasant to deal with in scheduling appointments.

I had just moved to the area and didn't know who to call to replace our furnace. I checked with Village records to see who had been filing permits for furnace installs and found Herchenbach. I was able to schedule the appointment quickly. When Curtis was at the house he was very professional and clearly knowledgeable. I went ahead and ordered the new furnace and his team was out within a few days to install (current furnace was working so it was not an emergency). We had some questions and Curtis came out to the house to follow up. I would definitely recommend Herchenbach and will be using them again.

Mike came out at 8pm on a Saturday within one hour of my call for emergency service! He was pleasant, professional and very informative. Had replacement parts on hand and got my a/c up and running in 25min, and even cleaned the outside of unit all for a very reasonable price. Can't thank you enough and would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Curtis was right on time, very knowledgeable, and very personable. We have used Herchenbach for several years and would not even think about using anyone else for our HVAC and furnace servicing and needs. They are the best.
