I have been a homeowner for a long time and have used a couple different HVAC companies. This was my first experience with Herchenbach and I was both impressed and complete satisfied!
The experience was excellent from the placing of the call for service on my air conditioning to the completion of the work.
The tech arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything in detail. I will use them for all future work!

Herchenbach Mechanical Inc. is a team of highly skilled professionals that are in command of extremely complex mechanical systems. Their problem-solving skills were evident throughout the project which included; removal of old air conditioner, installation of a new 24ACC624A003 Carrier Air Conditioner , Evaporator Coil, Bypass Humidifier and Air Filter. Their teamwork was evidenced by continuous discussions of issues.Twelve hours later I am enjoying cool air on a 90° afternoon. I want to credit them with being the perfect combination of hard work, talent, professionalism and fun.

Curtis Herchenbach spent hours helping us understand the procedures that will be required when we have a new air conditioner installed. Many aspects of our furnace room will need corrections, improvements and I am 100% confident that the project will go perfectly. This company is truly the best I have ever had the good fortune to work with.

I found Herchenbach Mechanical when comparison shopping for a new furnace. The excellent reviews and promotional free quote prompted me to go ahead and schedule a quote. Curtis was quick to schedule an installation quote and was incredibly clear and comprehensive when going over our existing system and what would be expected with a replacement. After reviewing I decided to go with Herchenbach due to some modest cost savings and their standard of a 3 year labor warranty as compared to a 1 year labor warranty from my prior/other HVAC service provider.

My new furnace installation went great. Nick and the install team were awesome. They had the whole job done in about 4 hours (super quick in my experience) and even repaired/replaced a drain line that I opted to not to address from the quote as a courtesy. They were efficient and tidy, and the new furnace looks and runs great. I am happy to recommend Herchenbach and will be checking with them when it comes time to replace my AC. Thanks!

I am most impressed with the speed with which the company responded to me. I found out yesterday morning that my 26 year old furnace is dead and my house was ice cold. So I called Herchenbach at 8:45 am and within two hours Curtis, the owner, appeared at my house to discuss the estimate as well as see if he could try to repair my existing furnace to get me some heat. When the old furnace did not respond, then his office arranged with their existing customer with non emergency needs so they can let me take their installation appointment so I can have heat ASAP.
They take pride in their work and are interested in providing comfort to their customers as their foremost goal. They represented trusted name brand such as Carrier and even arranged financial payment plan through a bank if needed.
A day later, I am already in my home comfortably. It took less than 24 hours to solve my heating issue.
They showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, explained their finished work and the whole process was most impressive.

We are so glad we found Herchenbach and Trace after our prior service people retired. Trace is wo derful, knows what he is doing and gives us best options and recommendations! He is also an absolute pleasure to talk to and deal with. The office personnel are also always responsive and great!!

From the get-go Curtis and his team worked very effectively to get the job done, in a very timely manner. The office did a great job scheduling. And the install team Johnny, Nick, and Ken were punctual, efficient and answered all my questions along the way. These guys will be the reason my home is very comfortable for many years to come.

I wasn't happy when my "antique" furnace "crapped out" in sub zero temperatures about a week ago, but in under 7 days, we went from making the initial call to Herchenbach, to getting our new Carrier Furnace installed yesterday. It was an unbelievably simple process from start to finish. I got 3 quotes sent over via e-mail the first morning, they were all explained to me thoroughly by Curtis, as HVAC is definitely not my thing, and I chose one of the options that same day, applied for the financing on their website immediately following, was approved 10 minutes later, and they were out here 4 business days later doing the work. Hilllary in the office was fantastic, she remained patient with me, considering all of my questions, as I was nervous about spending the money suddenly, but they could not have been better as a team. The 2 installers were great as well. With the snow melting, I was worried about mud, but they laid down tarps from the entrance all the way downstairs to the furnace room. It was a total non-issue. They got the job done, extremely professional, answered any questions I had with knowledgeable answers, and including demolition, complete install and testing, in 6 hours. It was unbelievable. The Carrier system is so quiet compared to the unit they replaced, and the smart thermostat is so cool as well. Anyway, I would highly recommend Herchenbach and Carrier to anyone looking for a new Furnace and/or A/C system. They will be back out in April doing my A/C system. Looking forward to it! My furnace would run on high and the exhaust stunk. They told me that usually indicates a bad heat exchanger. I told them the gas valve was intermittent. They replaced the valve shortly after they left it shut down could run on high. The came back the next day and tested for the heat exchanger and said it was bad so I need a new furnace they said they could install one tomorrow if I wanted one. They told me about four year 0% financing. I applied for it and was approved for only $7,000 and needed $12,000. They said that they would see if they could help me. They were able to get to $9,000 so I borrowed $2,500 and told them to replace it. They saved my life after removing the old one the heat exchanger was rotted with holes. They still can't figure out why I wasn't carbon monoxide. They did great work and worked very hard. I enjoyed watching them and talking to them. I recommend them to every one they all are very smart and can fine problems.
