I scheduled with reliable to come out today 10am-2pm was the window to check my ac unit out that's not working I took my family of 5 yesterday to my mom's house that's an HR away. My wife an I woke this morning to go over to our home before 10 only to get a text at 10am letting us know "Good morning, this is Reliable Heating & Air reaching out regarding your HVAC service appointment that's scheduled 10-2 today. I apologize for the inconvenience. but unfortunately we won't be able to service you today due to not enough availability. I'd be happy to reschedule you for our next available which is tomorrow 6/10". IN EXACT WORDS I COULDNT BE MORE P***** HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL

First, I don't think that this review will be posted because, it seems, that all Google reviews are 5 star. How can that be? While I am gaga about Reliable plumbing, their HVAC operation bears some scrutiny. On the plus side, they did the AC installation the next day and they showed up on time. On the downside, the installer turned out to be a subcontractor without a helper. He was very slow, which is, to me, is a red flag. I asked Reliable for a supervisor to double check the work and, sure enough, the job was not done completely. To Reliable's credit, they did send a technician the next day to tie the loose ends.

The technician who came looked at my AC unit and his first recommendation was to replace the whole thing. When I told him we wouldn’t be doing that (due to it not being that old), he offered to do a leak check, where he then informed me I needed a $2800 repair. Pretty sure he scammed me with the leak check - I had a different company come out today and was told there was no way he could have done a leak check in the state it was in at that time. I also described the photo that the Reliable technician had showed me, which was supposedly of the leak. But the other person who came today said that what I was describing wasn’t even where the leak was (this is the reason I believe I was scammed - he charged me for a leak check that he never actually did). As soon as he knew I wasn’t going to pay $2800, he became less interested in helping me and left. Will never use Reliable again after this.

Reliable technician Edward was the best he explained in detail the problem and offered a solution that would be best for us.
Sales agent Rodney Riddick was amazing and went over in detail everything that we was getting with the new a/c unit
Jr, Miquel and Fernando did a amazing job installing the new unit they cleaned up before they left and showed us how to use our new thermostat they arrived a little early and it did not take them long to install the new unit.
Everybody put on shoe covers before entering the house and left with a smile and a warm goodbye.

My compressor went out on my outdoor unit, the technician came to replace it. 2 years later i have a issue with my A/C. i know its out of warranty so i called a different company. the tech came to look at my unit and said it was my compressor. but when he opened the unit to look a little deeper he found that the compressor that was in the unit was a 2016 and 3 out of the four bolts where not in the unit. i called Reliable customer service they send out a tech he goes' thru the unit comes up with the same conclusion. So they send out the service manger he goes' over the hole unit. he tells me its out of warranty and he see blots come come of units all the time. also they don't look at the dates on parts they put in. after all of that they charged me to look at the unit that was poorly installed by their tech, i think they should change there name to HEATING AND AIR, lets just leave off the RELIABLE!!!

Jr, Miguel & Crew came out and removed and install new AC & Furnace. They did an excellent job, cleaned up demo the unit, smiled and waved good bye. Wish everyone cared for the customer like they did. 5 star rating.

We had a tech out from reliable last week. Just to do maiintenance on our A/C as we though it best to have it looked at before Summer really gets going. The gentlemen was on time, and very thorough, and gave our unit a clean bill of health which we were obviously relieved, and surpised at the honesty. 5 days later and the A/C stops working, family is in a panic, as am I. Called Reliable the next morning after checking everything I know how to check, and mind you it was 630 am and we had just awoken again, in a pool of sweat. They picked up, I talked to a person and they got us on schedule for the next day. Fast forward to 7 AM and I get a message that they can come see us same day, and called back and confirmed, yes, we very much would like this. Dai, our tech arrives at 12, again, right on time, and had the air on in under an hour. Dai explained everything as did our first tech, and was incredibly thorough and transparent about everything. Come to find out it was a blockage that was keeping the A/C from running, and since our maintenance was only 4-5 days ago, he counted it as part of that, which is just amazing in today's business climate. Shocked honestly. Realible won my business with our new water heater several years ago. They for sure have earned any HVAC business from me and I will most certainly be recommending them to anyone who asks me about anything related to HVAC, plumbing, etc. Thank you reliable for really being the good guys out there. It is confidence inspiring knowing you are behind us, and you can be trusted. Thank you!

He was prompt (in fact, early), professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure both my heating and A/C systems were working properly.
