We have had great service from Air Express. Adam came out the first day we called. He was knowledgeable about what system would best meet our needs and provided an immediate quote. (The research we had already done showed Amana as the most reliable system, and we were thrilled when Adam suggested that brand to us.) They installed it the next day, and we are delighted with the results. Adam followed up a couple of days later to check airflow and then set up geo-fencing on our phones. So now we enjoy high tech air conditioning. We've recommended Adam and Air Express to all our friends. They'd score a 10, but the ratings only go up to 5!

After spending $9K on two units, Iv had to pay $4K to replace both coils 3-4 years after installing them. Both failed a year after warranty and even tough the parts were on warranty this company was looking for $400 a hour for labor (for one person)!! The parts they use (Amana) are cheap and what makes it worse it that their technician said it could have been due to a bad installation (they installed it!). When I called them I was accused of lying which is unacceptable. Their servicing is also expensive and they conveniently always found a expensive problem. Based on this one star is the highest I can give them.

Could not be more happy with the service Adam and Air Express provided me. Communication, friendliness, work quality, value, timeliness, cleanup, professionalism were all beyond expectations. Adam, the owner, stopped by multiple times to check on the work being done throughout the day and even picked up a broom to help his workers clean-up. Will go to Adam and Air Express for all my AC HVAC needs from this point on. Edit 1/31/2019 Russell and Tavon came out and did a checkup on my AC unit. I'm always impressed with how professional and courteous Adam's workers are. Thanks guys.

Called and they were able to send someone out to check on my system the same day. Zach was very helpful, managed to diagnose the issue, find the part needed, and came back to install it the very next day. Highly recommend.

UPDATE: decided to give the service side a chance since this is still the best reviewed AMANA dealer around. The service was excellent, Braxton was extremely thorough and fully serviced every bit of the unit. Can’t fully express how impressed I am with the service side. I wish there had been better communication early on that I had free maintenance for the first year. Highly recommend for AC maintenance!

I was very impressed with the quality of work initially until it came time to change my filter when I realized that the one the installer put in was the incorrect size (20x 20) in a 23 x 20 hole while the one I had been preparing to buy was 23x21 which is what was written in Sharpie in the side of the unit. The permit was never followed up on and required me to call multiple times to the business to find out the status of the permit which was finally inspected months after install. As I was concerned with the lack of professionalism with the filter and inspection, I began to wonder if my 10 year parts/labor and lifetime outdoor unit warranty I paid for was properly registered. IT WAS NOT. My dad owns an HVAC business in another state selling Amana and saw no registration at all. This means my warranty would have reverted to a basic 5 year with no way to get it back and I would have been out the extra money paid for the warranty. I have had no calls for an annual service contract to keep my warranty good anyways. Extremely disappointed with the install paperwork process, if they do an install verify the permit was closed out and the warranty registration complete.

Just experienced a very unprofessional encounter with the owner Adam this past weekend when he called to aggressively tell us we’re calling too many times (we called for some clarification on appointment times and he was angry because each call cost him $5), that he is placing us on a do not service list despite our units being under warranty, and that we are unpleasant people to work with. Our side of the story: HVAC installed in late 2016. Nothing but issues with both units (2 story home) from the beginning, mostly on the unit upstairs, both heating and cooling. Lots of service calls needed. The most recurring issue is that the upstairs did not maintain cooling in the summer (would reach 80+ degrees). We were told it was our duct work. We pay $4k to have that replaced (even though old units cooled the upstairs just fine with current ducting) and does not resolve the issue. Adam replaces the condenser along with other tweaking and these do not resolve the issue. He finally throws up his hands and we’re told that’s the nature of having 2 stories and keep the downstairs cold to force cold air upstairs. In doing that, downstairs was uncomfortably cold while there was a 1 degree difference upstairs, so we stopped doing that and dealt with a hot upstairs. When we had a baby, we had to look into fixing the upstairs again because of the risk of SIDS when babies are too hot. We paid for expensive insulation and a radiant barrier in the attic knowing Adam would tell us it’s not his system. This did not fix the problem, so we were forced to call Adam again. His tech comes out, refills our Freon since it was low, checks for a leak, and for the first time in 4 years we are able to maintain AC upstairs. Why’d it take 4 years to fix this? Not to mention suffering with a hot upstairs for years because “that’s the nature of 2 floors.” This past weekend, we called because our downstairs heat wasn’t working. Adam arrives and is standoffish and clearly unhappy at us for unknown reasons. He gets the heat to work but it stops working again the next day, so another service call is requested. We received the aforementioned angry call from Adam later that night. Our only transgressions are the amount of service calls we’ve had over the past 4 years for legitimate issues for nonworking heating and cooling as outlined in brief above. We also made him permit both our units after failing to do so at installation. He found stickers from other HVAC companies that he was unhappy about when we got second opinions on the duct work—work that went to him in the end anyway. We’ve been rightfully frustrated with his work and faulty HVAC but have stayed respectful. From our perspective, Adam will leave you high and dry if you have a system that is not properly working and somehow make YOU the bad guy at the same time. Any customer would be frustrated by the amount of time and money (4 years, $18k+) we’ve thrown into HVAC to have recurring issues with brand new units. However Adam responds below, keep in mind that I’ll be unable to defend myself against his claims and it’s his job to say whatever he can to keep your business. Your first interactions with Adam will be very pleasant as evidenced by his 5 star reviews, but as soon as issues happen and you seem like a high maintenance customer (even if for legitimate reasons), he will become rude and condescending and eventually put you on his do not service list when he has no right to do so.
