James was extremely productive with his quality of work and timeliness. Installed a 220V line from main breaker to back patio. Permitting services were on time once I figured out their process. I’d use their services again!
My tech was very through and knowledgeable, unfortunately I needed a new air conditioner, but the price and payment plans were Exceptional, and now I am good for at least 10 years. Great company
Extremely disappointed in this company, I had them out for two separate items in the same home. The first was an AC replacement estimate however when received was $2000 more than was given to me by another company! Then secondly was for replacing three outlets and I was told that I must pay in lieu of the $49.00 service charge $322 before they ever even assessed it because I was not physically there. I offered to give my credit card information but told them I didn't want to be charged until his assessment was complete and they refused. I am a Realtor and a Property Manager of over 20 yrs with 80 plus homes and have never had to pay up front before the service was rendered in such a manner. I'm astonished at the lack of actual service and the demand for money before ever processing or completing a repair.
Rolando was polite and informed me of all that he was doing and was thorough on checking every breaker for its purpose and labeled everything. He did a fine job and was a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
Hoffman Electrical responded to an urgent and last-minute request for one of our properties in the Tampa area. They were very prompt and professional, and their technician was excellent in communicating with us, as the owners, all along the way.
Very much appreciate their help and would defo recommend them!
Eric N. (Electrician) was very professional, on time and fixed my electrical issues quickly. The prices are appropriate for the market and I am happy customer. I will definitely use HOFFMAN ELECTRICAL for all of my future needs. Thank you.
Osmel changed out 5 outlets and 2 switches for us for about $1600 in our older home. Before he arrived, we got a text with his picture. He arrived on time, listened to our needs and completed the job in about an hour and a half. Some of the outlets were badly damaged due to moisture. Osmel told us the wiring is fine though. He was courteous and did not leave the front door open as he was going in and out, which I really appreciate because we have pets. He mentioned the work is guaranteed for a year and gave us advice to keep the humidity lower to prevent more damage. I will call Hoffman again if I need electrical work done.
Brad was so nice and patient! He worked quick and was very respectful of our property. I don't look forward to the next emergency but I DO appreciate being able to call on him for help! :)
Very pleased with the service provided by and patience of Hector O. in installing our EV charging outlet. Wouldn't hesitate to welcome Hector back to provide additional services in the future!
We came back from out of town to find our A/C not working, as the house was 85 degrees. We called our normal company, but didn't answer, so we reached out to Hoffman, who said they could have someone over right away. Since it was after-hours, we had to pay $149 up-front. Well, it wasn't right away, as it was 3 hrs later, almost 8pm. When he arrived, he informed us he couldn't do anything because the unit was frozen up. We set an appointment immediately for the next day, but were informed they couldn't be here until after 2:30pm the next day. He came back, checked out our system, and said he couldn't find an issue, and the upstairs was cooling just fine. What he didn't do, was check the downstairs as there was no blowing through at all. Well, in the morning, we checked our unit again and it's freezing up and and the house is getting hot...We call Hoffman back and they send out their lead. He says from the start, they normally don't work on Lennox units - We should've run then! Rob did a extensive check, with his assistant, and said the unit wasn't holding pressure but he would need to start at the handlers and go step by step through everything to find the problem, but couldn't do it until Thursday - so it's going to be 4 days without air, but we another $332 diagnostic fee and made the appointment for Thursday. Rob shows up spends about 2 1/2 hours checking everything. After all this, he gives the bad news- 2 new dampers in attic, replace the a/c valve (which is under parts warranty, but not labor) plus new refrigerant ($1200)...The total estimate - $4,000, which we found to be excessive. I called A Stepping Stone, people who installed the the unit, and went down to see them, before I committed to this repair. On the way, I called another A/C company and asked some questions before arriving at A One Stepping Stone. When I arrived there, I described what we were going through and immediately he said something didn't sound right. He said three major things don't usually fall at the same time. We made an appointment for them to come out the next day, with their top technician. He arrived at noon, and started his diagnosis- he found nothing wrong with the dampers or theirmotors, but replaced one which was not optimal. The valve was fine, there was no leak of refrigerant, so no need to do anything there. We were told the repairs suggested by Hoffman were excessive and the gut looking at it didn't know what he was doing. It cost us $285 for the repair through A One Stepping Stone, versus being out $560 through Hoffman, with No Resolution, with the total going to run $4,000...oh the manager at Hoffman, offered us $100 back, and said "Well, we're not experts on repairing Lennox units, so I'm not surprised " BUYERS BEWARE! Hoffman boasts they price by the job, but their JOB price is higher than a normal hourly quote! Their techs are also paid on commission, so that was a good reason for the HUGE upsell! once again, CONSUMER BEWARE!!! *Estimate available upon request!
