I had an outlet going to my electric stove that broke suddenly. I bought a new stove from Lowe's for $900 and when it delivered, it said "bad line. bad outlet. no connection." which meant my original stove was not the problem! I decided to keep my original stove and instead put the money towards fixing the electrical issue. We called on Sunday and Mike T. came out Monday morning. He identified the problem right away and took the time to explain everything to me. Being a new home owner, a lot of this is foreign to me, and I appreciate him explaining exactly what it is I'm paying for. He had the tools to fix my problem right away and now my original stove is working again and I won't have to worry about that circuit breaking down because he replaced the whole line! He is a very honest guy and I would definitely recommend him for any electrical problems you have.
On time and courteous. The details of the project were clearly explained to me (who doesn't know a nut from a bolt) and installation of the ceiling fan completed in an appropriate time. The area was cleaned of debris, the fan tested before the tech left and all my questions were answered. Couldn't have asked for a better service, I would use them again without question.
This is the second time we've called upon Hoffman for electrical work. So pleased with the results. The first time we needed GFS-installation and the second time for an antique light fixture. Requested Mr. Garza because he's not only a skilled technician, but a very knowledgeable and pleasant person.
We had a problem with our kitchen light and the switch. Nelson came on time, troubleshooted it and fixed it within an hour. He was very professional and explained everything he did. We’ll definitely use them again.
5 Stars is not enough,came out, did PROFESSIONAL work,with PROFESSIONAL people....then 2 weeks later get a Thank You card signed by dozen or more employees...not printed but looks like they actually took time to sign...That is truly is PROFESSIONALISM at its best...3 more projects to go, and they will get my business !!!
Never told us the problem, was just trying to make a sale. He first spoke to our owner who speaks little English and qouted her over $400, then when speaking to our general manager went down to $200, we kept asking what the problem is and he couldn’t give an answer, he was very clearly just trying to pull a fast one and make a sale. Really unprofessional. We don’t care how much it cost to fix, but when you can’t tell us the the problem that’s a major red flag. We called because of the good reviews this company has but we were really let down. Maybe it was just the technician they sent (Colin) and not the whole company, but I can tell you that Colin definitely doesn’t care about your company or home, he just wants to make a sale.
Updated to add: 1. We don’t want anyone to work for free, what is the $49.99 we paid for? The lady we scheduled with said “$49.99 gets a technician out to diagnose the problem.”
The team was super responsive and super straightforward about what they were going to do and were doing during the day. The guys were also courteous and professional. I was able to work from home while they installed a whole new system. Highly recommend Christopher and the team for any of your AC needs.
I called on Sunday to check their hours of operation and was not expecting to speak to someone, but someone DID answer and she was able to make an appointment for the very next day. My appointment time was between 2-5; I received a call around 1:45 letting me know that my technician was on his way and the technician, James, arrived around 2:30. I showed him my concerns and he was able to fix all of them in a timely manner. He was courteous and friendly as well as professional. I was preparing myself for an expensive invoice but I was pleasantly surprised with my total. I will definitely use them again for any future electrical projects. ☺️
Rob was professional and thorough. He explained everything he was doing and how one thing affects the other. He gave me tips on extending the life of our A/C unit. I would definitely recommend Hoffman Electrical!
